I have been hovering about these comments all day and while I never log in to HN, I had to come and reply to you.

If you pay closer attention to HN and manage to read the comments before they are flagged and deleted, you will see some excellent points which are bound to piss off the people in power with powerful connections.

There’s a concerted multi-prong effort to muddy, confuse, silence, downvote and flag perfectly decent points made from perfectly decent people on HN.

HN is a sitting duck which cannot protect itself from being tampered with by a full-time influence group with a single agenda.

It’s unfortunate when interesting conversation is being clearly stifled by a particular entity.
