Just because they are not there YET doesn't mean they have failed period. Every. Single. Business. That Elon is running has SOMETHING to do with creating a civilization on a different planet.

-an electric vehicle
-the Optimus robot

Every. Single. One. Useful in one way or another for interstellar travel and or living on another planet.
So explain to me exactly how YOU think SpaceX has "failed with Mars".
