I am also amazed by the resistance to change here as there is a system clearly more efficient and transparent. It's just a matter of time in my opinion.
BTW you can remove the (nearly) in "(nearly) costless", some solutions provide 0 fees and no inflation.

Maybe it's cynical to think that way but maybe it's a way to crush the competition before it even begins: I would probably not invest in researching LLMs now, knowing that there is a company that will very likely produce a model close enough for free and I will likely never make back the investment.

I suppose that the fact that it's too shallow could be improved by applying this approach recursively on each sub-topic, then synthesise them and create a narrative around them.

We have more than enough food for everyone. Actually, we waste most of agricultural land to grow crops to feed animals that we eat later on, which is extremely inefficient, like a 10 to 1 calorie conversion rate. It's also cruel, bad for the environment, etc.

You can use a service such as nano-gpt.com where you pay for every single query only. I rarely spend more than $20 a month and I can choose whichever model I want.

It is also fair to hate the player, as often they are making the decisions consciously. They are supporting the game, which would die if there was no demand. Same as the meat industry for example. It's too easy to always put the fault on some higher instance.
