Only one of the three posted job links works. Personally I am looking for the link to the Sr. Frontend post.
"There's not a single language I'd consider myself good with"
If possible try to focus on a single language. Build a lot of different little things to cover the breadth of the language. Find a job where you only need to contribute in that language. When you become proficient at that language (this can take years!), then you can pick up other languages much easier, and you should feel more confident in your knowledge.
I would be interested in reading about this.
Around that time (or maybe slightly before) I was asked by my friends dad to figure this out. He and a group of his friends payed for the equipment and gave it to me. I figured it out, but when they found out that the "hack" would be reset at least every month and before any major event they all found it too problematic to deal with. Worked out great for me as I got free satellite TV for a while when I was going to school.
As others have said you export an STL file from your design software. This goes into a slicer (Slic3r, Cura, etc.) If you set up your printer with OctoPrint running on a Rasberry Pi you could do the slicing there, but you quickly run into the limitations of auto-slicing.
I blocked the webcam, then tried again and it gave me the option to upload photos of my ID instead. Not sure why that wasn't an option in the first place like it is on coinbase.
I had this situation. I had an AWS account linked to some email I no longer had access to and could not get into the account. I opened a support ticket and they sent an email to the old address, after 10 days of no response they sent it to "Legal" for review. The account was then closed by them which resolved it for me.
If I remember correctly, early proposals of the ES4 standard had a type system. It was later removed, but ActionScript continued down that path anyway.
Agreed. Why not use part of this line from the blog "Put another way, TremulaJS can be thought of as an extremely bad-ass image slider."
"I don't care what methodology you're using, if it includes crunch then it's broken."
Rather than saying it is broken, it needs to be said that the team needs to improve. Continuous Improvement, it's where it's at.
Agreed. It is hard to just accept these viewpoints without backing them up with some examples or data.
The v2 opinion and comparison to SharePoint just sounds mostly like FUD.
The comments about junior devs and masquerading as javascript I just don't buy. Sure someone new to programming might be able to just throw something together and not learn, but someone attempting to learn will still learn a lot using Angular.
After looking at the linked article and reading the comments, it appears that it doesn't make an actual impact on performance. He is just suggesting the ordering for consistency.
We don't know that was the intention. Perhaps the laptop decided to connect to the internet without a firewall.
So if my phone takes a picture when taking it out of my pocket, is it immediately public domain? I would guess that it being accidental wouldn't play much into it.
Good timing, I just posted the same.
This all sounds interesting, but I was just thinking this would be a great way to unlock a computer. Scan the 'lock' screen with your phone. Probably not good for an office environment (too easy to grab someone else's phone), but I would use it at home.
Not sure if there is any outside research. I believe that newer additions has this info in the preface. But I can say I felt good while reading it. I need to do that again.
So did you ask Rafael Matsunaga if you could copy and release his code as open source?
Correction: PRISM + WWDC + E3 -> very high traffic.
Could you point me in the direction of finding this feature? I always thought BofA did not have this and would like to use it while I can.
Great writeup. I just switched all my services to factories yesterday after a talk with another developer.
One question though, is there any additional overhead to a service vs factory?
