Would this allow a sandboxed container on windows to still run commands in wsl?
Having this available to find and fix security stuff is a big deal. The model of really good.
That said. It is really good at security review at max settings. Just ran one, it came to 0.15$
Been testing this on hobby project
https://github.com/arj03/seedkernel/. Latest flash was a big step up. Pro feels really slow compared. Claude opus is still better day this level.
On a Friday, I'm out of tokens ;-)
You ask me what I think. So far deepseek has been very consistently trying to advance state of the art research in a transplant and public way by writing papers and publishing working code. They are also not at the mercy of the stock market in the same way many Americans companies are. Before anyone assumes too much, I live in Europe.
Not everyone is motivated by greed
It seems it had hardware support for secure mesh. Anyone know what that is?
Still no post on their official blog. How disappointing.
Does not seem like the source code is available?
We have a finite amount of carbon left. Each year we are already exceeding our share. This in itself means that future generations have less. At the same time, some people use more than others. It's not a matter if degrowth but about sharing ressources fairly.
We all live in the same planet, the most reasonable way to share this is that we get an equal share. For far to long certain countries have taken up much more of their share. To such a point that our whole carbon budget has been used in a single or two generations. Now is the time for those better of to contribute their fair share in solving this mess.
You mean China that built more solar last year than the rest of the world combined? Not to mention batteries.
Serious question. Do you put buttplug.io on your CV? :)
Denmark also has no capital gains tax and the housing prices has also gone up like crazy over the last year.
I guess the thinking must be that if it were taxed and say you bought a house for 500k and a decade later it is worth 750k and you have to move for another job to a place where a comparable house would also be 750k$, then you can't afford the "same house" any longer because you have to pay tax on the 250k gain. The funny thing is I don't think we would see this kind of increase on the house price if it where taxed, making the point pretty mood.
Does anyone know of a country with tax on capital gains from selling a house and how the prices on houses are there?
This is actually quite decent for a first version. I can see that it has git integrated. What workflows do people use to combine git and sql?
But it is scaleable. On scuttlebot you follow people just like you have friends in real life. I also don't need to ask the government permission to talk to that person. That is DEcentralized for you right there.
This is really smart, especially with something like protonmail.
Does anyone know if this works privately. Or if there is a good way to seed files only between friends?
That last part is a good summary of CRDT versus OT.
Also nice project. I think a section on conflict handling would be a good addition to your README on github. It is the first thing I look for when looking at systems in this space :)
