I cannot express how happy I am that it uses a Pi core. Look forward to complementing herdr with this

Re:DeepSeek-v4.1 Flash: Pushing the Limits of KV Cache Compression on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @11:12PM (#49735982)
I am very impressed with the KV Cache Compression work as well as the prefix cacheing making queries converge on practically free.
Re:The ATProto Spaces Alpha Is Live – At Protocol on Saturday August 22, 2026 @04:54PM (#49403804)
Let's go, tangled.sh is about to have private repos
Re:Linux 7.2 Released on Friday August 21, 2026 @04:14AM (#49385262)
Yes, even Bcachefs was on and off through versions
Re:Bluesky Protocol Services on Friday August 14, 2026 @04:47AM (#49296154)
Looks like astro starlight
Meanwhile I can do all that and more with reasonix harness for Deepseek with a cache hit rate of 99%. And that's with unsubsidized American providers like cloudflare or Digital Ocean
With this was more in line with corne style split keyboards and really made for programmers like enthium.
Couldn't agree more, and the use of Clojure is the cherry on top.
Re:Rio-vt and librio: Rio's terminal engine, now embeddable on Wednesday August 05, 2026 @12:28AM (#49178555)
Great, ghost.el was made thanks to the well-made libghostty-vt library. I am very to try out Rio in Emacs next.
Re:Hop.earth – OpenStreetMap based car racing game on Tuesday August 04, 2026 @06:28PM (#49176116)
Nice premise, I can see this being developed out more for open world style games.
Re:Replacing the Kobo Libra H2O Battery on Monday August 03, 2026 @07:20PM (#49162626)
Thanks for the heads up. Good to know storage won't be an issue with a simple upgrade too.
Re:Replacing the Kobo Libra H2O Battery on Monday August 03, 2026 @07:19PM (#49162623)
Very cool. Would like to do this with my Kobo Clara
Likewise, I don't know where my dotfiles would be without deepseek/reasonix model configuring my entire OS for almust free with cache hits.
Look forward to combining this with fluorite
Re:GitHub has alternatives, but no replacement on Saturday August 01, 2026 @12:01PM (#49135547)
I don't know, tangled.org seems promising.
Re:Darktable on Wednesday July 29, 2026 @11:13AM (#49098600)
How does it compare to RapidRaw?
Re:KOReader on Wednesday July 29, 2026 @11:01AM (#49098453)
Koreader rocks indeed

Re:Anthropeum on Tuesday July 28, 2026 @01:17PM (#49087033)
Heh, geoguesser for artifacts. Neat. The texts on the slider do seem a little close together. Could just be me.
Re:A Discord Alternative – Echoed on Monday July 27, 2026 @07:41PM (#49077149)
Looks like a cool project, thanks for the reference. Have been relying on Dorion up to this point.
Congrats. Will be watching with great interest!
Re:Building on ATProto on Thursday July 23, 2026 @04:02PM (#49027264)
I switched from codeberg to tangled, and the transition couldn't have been smoother. Being on the ATmosphere really helps with peace of mind.
The best part is using harnesses like reasonix or whale make cache hit at a rate close to 98%, making requests converge to practically free. And that's with unsubsidized American providers like cloudflare or Digital Ocean.
I saw an interview with one of the main contributors for Neovim and they use fennel for everything. All roads lead to Lisp
That's clever insight. If it was lisp from the beginning, maybe would be more straightforward. It's as simple as code can get, according to Uncle Bob, while still being expressive. It's no wonder Emacs still reigns supreme. Well, I am happy with Niri's kdl approach for the time being.
Re:Tested Kimi K3 for Coding on Monday July 20, 2026 @02:02PM (#48982468)
$1 seem a lot, with a high cache hit rate it should be lower.
Re:Annoying and alarming things about OpenCode on Monday July 20, 2026 @01:29PM (#48981969)
This is why I use the reasonix or whale harness for Deepseek, prefer the hyper optimized cache hits making request converge on almost free.
