Re:Steal This Book? There’s a Price on Monday September 16, 2019 @06:44AM (#20982757)
For me that approach is just dumb. It's like "War on drugs" - you are fighting something you cannot defeat instead of trying to make a real change.

If I pirated a book, liked it and saw a message there "If you liked it, consider supporting the author in this and that way", I would probably just do that.

If you ever illegally downloaded a game you know that often there are messages like this from pirating groups and I believe that's the right thing to do - if you liked it, support it.

Re:Dotsies (2012) on Tuesday December 18, 2018 @02:06AM (#18705006)
The problem I see there is you think there is only English. While you may write "naïve" as "naive" and lose nothing, there are some other languages too and the advantage of Latin is that it's visual and Latin letters can be slightly changed to have something similar but different.

Do you think "Fußgängerübergänge" can be read as "Fussgangerubergange" or "zażółć" as "zazolc"? (German and Polish respectively)

PGNiG, PGG and Orlen are government owned so I wouldn't say they have their own agenda.

But yes, Polish government doesn't like the idea of giving up coal.

Looks good, I have some remarks though. Is making your blog look exactly like medium legal? If it is, isn't that a dick move though?

Never heard anyone calling it postgre. But again, some people pronouns SQL as 'sequel'
It looks like it's meant to be easy regexes for people who don't know regexes and I don't like that idea.

Re:Linqit – forget about python lists on Monday July 30, 2018 @02:37AM (#17642491)
You hate python so you made a library to make it look worse, but at least less pythonic? I believe someone will find it useful and it frightens me
