Yes congratulation on his pointless endeavour that's improved no-one's life at all (maybe his own?)

Yes, a lot of things were the norm in "ages prior" that aren't considered great nowadays.

Reflects a lot better on the son than his selfish old man; he's fortunate he's seemingly turned out so well.

This took me down a rabbithole of randoms who have wikipedia pages. "Spacetrail" who created Dimoska's page also created one for Rajinder Singh Tumber who seems completely unremarkable but has somehow wangled an MBE, presumably due to his ability for self-promotion.

Re:A 100x faster* alternative to homebrew
on Thursday October 08, 2026 @05:15AM (#50003573)
This isn't just a replacement for the homebrew UI, it's for the CLI too, so comparison invalid. I see the dev behind it has a whole 4 years of github experience - only the most recent 2 of which with anything significant (presumably model written), how reassuring.
Re:A 100x faster* alternative to homebrew

The point you are ignoring or missing is that the homebrew maintainers have earned the trust to use AI contributions and have not simply whacked out a 100% vibe coded app in a week.

Re:Make Tmux the OS

This is my concern, OmniWM is bundling more and more functionality in, the lead dev is a bit too keen on using tokens. I may move to Nehir similarly.
Re:Make Tmux the OS

Niri or Umbriel with Noctalia shell is a wonderful experience, you can get similar on Mac with OmniWM. I briefly tried komorebi for windows too.
