Company time != Pay rate, if you're working somewhere that's publicly traded check out "revenue per employee" metrics sometime.

OpenIntents File Manager has worked for me so far.

"This meeting could have been an email" incarnate.
That doesn't really stop people from filming, just uploading to YouTube.
Who in the world would ever accuse Elon of being an engineer???

I feel like this would open up the company to too much liability. Too many of your apartment users are torrenting/streaming/ too many DMCA filings to deal with when my main business is "hypothetically" being a top 3 nation wide payroll provider.
Down vote me all you want, its 100% the truth. Don't like it? Contact your representatives in the state legislature and get these laws repealed.

Except, it isn't.

in Obama's memoir, he recalls he and Biden trying to explain the policy merits of a bill to Mitch McConnell, who responds "You must be under the mistaken impression that I care”

Entirely legal in a "Right to work" state.

Technically, it still is.

Been using PKS for almost all of this year at work and it feels very much like 'the writing is on the wall'.

Looked more like a row house than an apartment.

Pretty common size from the big box and home & garden type stores. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Sta-Green-43-lb-15-000-sq-ft-32-0-1... I'd be suspicions if he had 10-20 bags and didn't run a landscaping company or multiple acres or grass to maintain.
Re:AMD EPYC 7713 'Milan' Zen 3 CPU Benchmarked on Saturday November 07, 2020 @09:52AM (#25015370)
We have disk shelves now, wouldn't the next step be a "network shelf"? And probably a "GPU compute" shelf later on with some kind of high-speed high bandwidth backbone tying them all together. Turn the whole rack into a glorified backplane. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ sounds like something IBM would do.

My fear would be that they see this product has a bigger market at targeting make hair loss than hearing loss. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to take it today if it would rid me of this wretched ringing.

Re:The strange new world of being a deepfake actor on Sunday October 11, 2020 @10:04AM (#24745847)
I'd trust more than a deepfake TicTok video reposted by FoxNews/CNN.
NPR and BBC both report imperialist talking points of their respective governments as fact without the slightest hint of criticism. Far left would be Democracy Now, Jacobin, Mother Jones, The Nation, etc.

Re:Roof blows off new Tesla Model Y on Wednesday October 07, 2020 @07:02PM (#24713830)
How would, say, the base model 3 compare against a 2 year old base model C or E class? Or the same 2 yeah old Lexus Es350 or Volvo S90? All sitting comfortably in the base model 3's $30k price range. I've heard the driving experience is definitely better but I have serious doubts that the quality or fit and finish would match.
Re:If doctors were interviewed like software developers on Wednesday October 07, 2020 @01:15PM (#24710413)
>A plumber can't just go into a home and install something outside of code.

That is....not true at all. A plumber/carpenter/electrician works to code under threat of losing their license. Additionally your building could be exempt from code for numerous reasons (grandfathered/historical, outside of city limits and no county building codes/etc.) Developers and Software Engineers don't have this threat.

Re:Car seats as contraception on Thursday October 01, 2020 @02:07AM (#24647853)
>Do you remember bench seats in cars?

Still available in full size trucks, more likely to be found in fleet work trucks though.

5 minutes of googling tells me the 2013 Impala was the probably the last car sold with a front bench option. I would have guessed it would be that or a Crown Vic.

I recall this but don't remember seeing anything smaller being posted. Sub 100nm for a hobbiest would be pretty awesome. https://youtu.be/YAPt_DcWAvw
