Can you please define "this"?
Re:Dow and DuPont to merge on Friday December 11, 2015 @05:31PM (#10720591)
Dow and DuPont have been loosing a lot of customers to BASF in the last 5 years or so. Especially in the area of nano materials.
Re:Technology Will Kill White-Collar Jobs on Thursday December 10, 2015 @05:44PM (#10714158)
Nonsense. So you think that drivers, farmers, construction workers are safer than the employees of Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. ?
Re:Technology Will Kill White-Collar Jobs on Thursday December 10, 2015 @05:42PM (#10714136)
No, if we really wanted we could build an H-Bomb spaceship in a decade or two and fly to the nearest stars in a few decades.
I don't understand. What is the purpose of this tool?
Which are these parts?

I'm guessing ... Mars? Because most places on Earth programmers can work remotely.

Those are too different statements. As in the first is "all poor make bad decisions all the time", while the second "some poor have made bad decisions sometime in the past".
Re:WebGL water scene on Sunday November 29, 2015 @12:49PM (#10645354)
Nope, no problems with music or sound. Google Chrome Canary on desktop PC, Windows 8.1, NVIDIA audio device (HDMI).
Re:JetBlue Shakes Up Pilot Hiring by Training Them from Scratch on Saturday November 28, 2015 @05:51AM (#10640718)
>> The same is happening in software development.

Nonsense. There is a huge shortage of devs and it's only going to get worse, software is taking over the world.

Re:Saudi Arabia, an ISIS That Has Made It on Friday November 20, 2015 @05:42PM (#10604370)
Nonsense. US is completely pwned by Israel.
Re:Saudi Arabia, an ISIS That Has Made It on Friday November 20, 2015 @05:26PM (#10604295)
Oh, just maybe it has something to do with the extremely pacifist agenda of the US and Saudi Arabia in the region ...
Re:Saudi Arabia, an ISIS That Has Made It on Friday November 20, 2015 @05:23PM (#10604273)
Or even further back to the time when CIA destroyed the democracy in Iran, and hasn't stopped interfering since ...
The problems start once your package is in their warehouse. Sometime they increase the price, sometime they keep asking for more and more proofs of identity, income, address. Sometime they refuse to accept documents not verified in an US embassy in your country. If you refuse their demands they keep/steal your package. Just go on a few review sites and search for Shipito.
How do you get the prepaid card?

Cameras are so cheap that practically every shop has them. Voice, face, body recognition are getting better by the week and can be run on all recordings.

<<For the rest of us>> on YN with 120+ IQ :)
Shipito is beyond awful.
Re:Nasdaq to develop blockchain services in Estonia on Monday November 16, 2015 @04:28AM (#10573444)
Because it's distributed (NasDaq going bankrupt won't kill it) and all changes are in the open (no rogue employee stealing your shares). Sure you can achieve more or less the same thing with a relational DB or by drawing sticks on a piece of papyrus.
Re:Firefox for iOS now available on Thursday November 12, 2015 @05:02PM (#10556459)
But on IOS you're not a real browser, are you?

In my humble understanding Firefox is just a Safari skin, crippled by the lack of JIT.

Re:Waterfox – A fast browser on Thursday November 12, 2015 @05:00PM (#10556451)
Hmmm, I don't think there are many syscalls in the Firefox rendering engine.
Re:Waterfox – A fast browser on Thursday November 12, 2015 @04:58PM (#10556438)
The actual reason is you're an Apple hipster. On a proper desktop PC, Chrome doesn't get hot and hungry. Ever.
Re:Waterfox – A fast browser on Thursday November 12, 2015 @04:53PM (#10556415)
I had a huge page that was killing Firefox with an out of memory exception (that was a few years ago). Googled for 64 bit Firefox and got Waterfox, which solved that problem. So that's another selling point.
But they can, it's just not PGP.
What a non-sense.

We live in the information era, information nowadays is the ultimate power. Democracy depends on the balance of power between the people and the government. If the government has all the data, it has all the power.

The limit has NOTHING to do with peak or non-peak bandwidth!

It's a measure to prevent customers from watching video on-line and stopping their TV service.

Re:Why nuclear energy is our best option at the moment on Tuesday November 03, 2015 @08:55PM (#10504074)
Waste stays very radioactive for millions of years. Even after that remains extremely toxic. Earthquakes, volcanoes, diggers can trigger an apocalypse.
Re:Why nuclear energy is our best option at the moment on Tuesday November 03, 2015 @08:51PM (#10504068)
Have you heard about that discovery called radioactivity? Different isotopes? Ocean water >>> fresh water?
Re:Why nuclear energy is our best option at the moment on Tuesday November 03, 2015 @08:49PM (#10504060)
Yeah, so there is a solution to nuclear waste - in fantasy land.
Re:Why nuclear energy is our best option at the moment on Tuesday November 03, 2015 @08:49PM (#10504057)
Yeah, right next to a reactor, so that a meltdown causes 10x more damage.
Re:Why nuclear energy is our best option at the moment on Tuesday November 03, 2015 @04:47PM (#10502947)
Very simple - a few tones of Uranium or Plutonium, dispersed in air or water can kill the population of a continent.
Re:Why nuclear energy is our best option at the moment on Tuesday November 03, 2015 @04:44PM (#10502933)
Do you burn it? Why is it than that every reactor I know of, in US, WE, Japan, stores tones of extremely dangerous waste on site?
