You must of followed a good guide on getting it setup. Took me 2 days to get it solid. Then we decided to just use redis.
That is pretty much what they are doing right now in my state. Packets can be downloaded every two weeks, or picked up if they do not have access. Teacher does a zoom with the class a minimum of twice a week.
But with everyone WFH, making time to work with and teach your kids is difficult. At least young students..
My wife's classroom can barely get magic markers. And we are in a semi nice middle class area. The laptops the district provided for the teachers to use for remote learning can not even handle having MS Teams and Zoom running at the same time.
Im sure this is solvable, yes, but it would take a lot of planning, lots of training, money and lots of IT.
I am glad they got something in place and are trying to do the best they can with what they had. But wow, parents are frustrated.

Yes, you can run apache spark as a single node really easily. Then once its running you can fire up the Scala or Python shell that it comes with. After that, it is just a matter of issuing the statements to setup the data set then issues queries against it.
Pretty cool. You can do this in apache spark already but this looks a lot quicker to get going with.
My wife subscribes to their service. I can say, you pay a lot for what you get.
They also used CBC over EBC for the encryption mode. Which is good. Looks like they were at least trying to keep it safe.
Good point, its been a while since I signed up and I forgot about the whole "verification" process. Thanks.
cat | cut -d | sort | uniq or when in doubt, just write a few lines of perl.
I took music theory in HS and had a really good teacher. Books may work well but nothing beats having an instructor and access to instruments. I'd look into local community colleges possibly.
Shadowserver runs the sinkhole, its up to the registrar/dns company (in this case namecheap) to point it at the sinkhole. The Feds provide a list of "identified" domains to all the major providers for the avalanche take down. Since this is an on going thing, someone at namecheap blindly ran the list without any verification.
