Yes, it is, as you can see by being under the `elixir-lang` github org
Re:Show HN: I wrote a new BitTorrent tracker in Elixir on Friday June 20, 2025 @11:12PM (#44334192)
Building a BitTorrent tracker out of GenServers makes zero sense. ETS is the correct choice to make here 100% (for a single server configuration). Obviously it doesn't scale horizontally but it will scale vertically to the moon and chances are, yagni anyway

This is really good, my dude. I took a peruse through the code and I'm definitely impressed, this is like, code I would expect my senior engineers with elixir experience to turn in. Great job!
Good.

Perhaps 'OpenSpray' to keep with the theme?
Re:Show HN: Beander, a platform for micro-roasters on Wednesday March 05, 2014 @12:05PM (#7348115)
What does "per bag" even mean? There's no weight (or mass) listed. If you're thinking that "bag" means "regular 1lb (or insert metric equiv. here) bag" and the first thing you see is $110/bag, it's quite the shock.

I forgot I had this extension enabled: https://github.com/panicsteve/cloud-to-butt and hilarity ensued.

Very cool, thanks!
I wish I had some advice for you, Dan, but I don't. I'm just leaving this comment to say congrats to my old roommate. You're the man now, dog!

Download all of the porn on the internet. I'm only half joking.

Maybe he's planning for a big star-spangled blowout and is getting us ready for it? Kind of like if MJ had jumped out of his coffin at the Staples Center to start singing Thriller?
Re:Ask HN: Why is concurrent programming so hard ? on Monday August 17, 2009 @04:10PM (#768965)
Yes. I hear many a person bitch about concurrent programming. Concurrency is hard ONLY when you have mutable state. Otherwise, you just (call/cc ...) your continuations.

I thank my lucky stars every day that I go to a school where the first thing you learn is Scheme. Thanks, Matthias!

Voting no for the singular reason of I work on Turbo Tax. That's my job you're talking about, sir!

I'm so glad this had nothing to do with the jam band.
I just introduced my office to this by creating a larger-than-life copy of The Dude. Kittens were next. I fear for our productivity.
That would be fantastic, you know, if the banks didn't already rule the world. Do you think that banks are going to let software replace them? I have a hard time believing that this would come to fruition with anything less thank a full on revolution.

That said, I would wholeheartedly support such a revolution.
