It does not if you use hub gears.
Re:Asus Bike Booster on Sunday August 16, 2026 @05:10AM (#49318297)
There's a bunch of motors installable instead of the bottom bracket. E.g. from Bafang. You just connect it to a battery and that's it. The controller's inbuilt.
Re:Asus Bike Booster on Sunday August 16, 2026 @05:06AM (#49318277)
Also: I'd not recommend hub motors with cargo bikes. There is a reason all cargo bike makers switched away from hub motors. They're low-power and often not strong enough mechanically.

Swytch are great in marketing, not so much in engineering. Very proprietary system that keeps changing every year or so. We have one kit, but I'd not buy from them again.
Or in DEBUG. I didn't have tasm at the that time, so I used DEBUG.
This was not supported in 3.0. You could however include inline machine code, pre-assembled elsewhere or by hand.

I was curious but stopped watching after a Borland Groover photo flicked a couple of times.

Yes. Goulash is a very thick soup. Not gravy.
Re:Delphi 13 Community Edition Is Now Available on Wednesday August 12, 2026 @04:36PM (#49278193)
Of course you can, but it's more cumbersome in C as you also need to link to the DLL, hence the import library. In Delphi, it's all controlled from the function definition.

But of course most of the Windows APIs were already provided in the Windows unit. Oftentimes with Pascalish wrappers.

Re:Delphi 13 Community Edition Is Now Available on Wednesday August 12, 2026 @08:33AM (#49271415)
On the contrary, calling Windows APIs was easier than in C, no import libraries required, just declare what you need and there you go.

Also in all sorts of languages. Czech, Slovak, Estonian, French, you name it. A gentle introduction into comparative linguistics :D

Merchants and card networks don't need to be convinced. From their PoV Google Pay device is just a regular payment card.
Isn't that called TOML?

They are covered, but you need a surcharge or a seat reservation, or both.
Re:Interrail: 6,379Km and 13 Countries over 7 weeks on Sunday July 19, 2026 @10:59AM (#48968760)
I've had on multiple occasions Eurostar reservations cost more than 300 €. I didn't buy them, of course.

This sounds hilarious out of the context :D

Re:Interrail: 6,379Km and 13 Countries over 7 weeks on Monday July 13, 2026 @01:04PM (#48895615)
Not for Eurostar. Interrail seat reservations are often more expensive than a new ticket.

In France, some destinations are served only by TGV. In Italy, taking local trains can take an eternity.
How about not driving cars for every single journey? How about not having to go across the city for every errand?

There are solutions to congestion, but they're not technological.

The party they want to ban are neo-Nazis.
Yes, it is very much accepted and pretty uncontroversial that it is unethical to send someone away who’s made a new home in some country. Tearing them out of the local community and kicking them out against their will is immoral.

Not sure what you're trying to say. The full name of Epson is Seiko Epson.
Curious why your comment below’s got flagged. I personally don’t see any issue with it.
Re:Buy a train, bridge or tracks from the Swiss Railway on Tuesday June 23, 2026 @09:03AM (#48644365)
I took those trains many many times, years ago. A lot of shaking and a lot of banging because that’s how they change bogies. The vibration spreads across the carriage’s frame from underneath. And no, those aren’t American carriages. They’re formerly East German.

Shed roles? They fired people, not "shed roles".

D. R. Hipp, not Dr. Hipp.
