Location: Bengaluru, India (IST / UTC+5:30)

Remote: Yes — remote only (worked remotely 2.5+ years)

Willing to relocate: No

Engagement: Contract / freelance, ~20 hrs/week. Not looking for full-time.

Technologies: TypeScript/Node, Next.js, React, React Native/Expo, Hono, Cloudflare Workers/D1, AWS (Lambda/ECS/Fargate), PostgreSQL, Redis, Swift/SwiftUI, LLM systems (OpenAI/Gemini/Groq, RAG, multi-agent)

Résumé: https://anuragsoni.com (portfolio + work history)

GitHub: https://github.com/amaze-28

Email: [email protected]

I ship complete products solo.

https://anuragsoni.com/shotspa?ref=hn — Mac app that polishes screenshots automatically the moment you take one without changing your workflow, launched recently, built end to end in Swift/SwiftUI including the whole Apple distribution pipeline.

https://commitposts.com — AI turns merged PRs into a changelog page, emails and an in-app widget. I built it so the customers actually get to know what's being shipped.

https://clubmint.app — memberships, renewals and revenue tracking for gym and studio owners.

Previously worked as Backend/full-stack engineer at an edtech serving 15M students. Built the OCR pipeline processing 10M answer sheets bi-monthly (the company's core revenue product), data pipelines at 100–200K records/day, and LLM/RAG systems in production.

Recently resigned from my full-time SWE job to work on my own ideas and take freelance/contract work on the side.

this is really impressive. actual movements with live diagrams looks great. you can consider adding sound to take it to another level.
the most interesting part here isn't prompt injection worked, it's why the agent had read access to private repo at all while triaging a public issue.

an agent responding to public issue should only ever see context limited to that repo.

it seems like with the evolution of AI - we are slowly missing out basic security practices.

exactly. a good commit message apart from keeping track of what shipped, also lets u automate the changelog/release note generation. i built commitposts.com around this idea.
learn enough to understand what AI does wrong. that's the threshold you should consider.

ai definitely helps in speed but it also comes with bad decisions.

ultimately the ones who can review, debug & direct the AI will thrive

Re:Bashblog – a single bash script to create blogs on Sunday June 28, 2026 @10:33AM (#48707653)
bash script for blogs is a clever idea but writing in terminal might not be. an alternative angle : script that reads local .md file and deploys it might work well.
