News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

Maybe the useful distinction is understanding what a PR does versus knowing how to tell if it’s wrong. A quiz can check the first, but the second is often where review matters most.

I’d be interested in a version that helps the reviewer identify one assumption the change depends on and a concrete way to test it. That could keep the exercise small while making it useful, especially if the reviewer spots something the AI-generated summary missed.

Keeping it optional also lets people reach for it when they’re uncertain, instead of turning it into another checkbox as PR volume grows.

Jev is useful to run locally overnight: it can classify the results while you sleep, ready for you to review in the morning.
Both, depending on the task. Combining the 2 of them takes you to good results
Best combo for me: Jev for simple steps, and Fable or Opus only for planning or review
Having access to herdr on phone and iPad is the best gap I've ever found. That way people can do things while they're at the train station. I also do something similar for huge things.

So one thing: how can you know if an agent is thinking and not blocked?
