I wish that was the case, but it is not.

Take, for example, the recent time zone changes in Canada. It's obvious that every single electronic device capable of showing current local time needs to be updated and that's first order effect of the law. And yet Manitoba gave ~4.5 weeks notice w/o speaking to anyone.

TBF Canada is not an exception and governments do that quite often, but that's does not make the situation better. One can only hope that the US and EU will give enough time to prepare for DST cancellation.

And also dodge legal issues.

Rudd’s message included a suicide hotline number, contact information for military chaplains and other mental health resources, the official said. Feels like any tech company, especially FB's recent attempt to improve morale using snacks, pizza, and hackatons.

Whatever FB is doing going to invade your privacy. Any Google product is either going to be cancelled soon or tries to further enclose internet on Google.
Both tories and labour are doing the same kind of politics and are not different at all. From their POV us, people, are the bad guys who has to be restricted.
