In my company we store financial data for hundreds of thousands of clients in sql db. It's decade okd system and we have hundreds of tables, stored procedures (some touching dozen+ tables) and rely on transactions.

It took me weeks to convince my managers not to migrate to new hot nosql solution because "it's in cloud, it's scalable and it also supports sql queries".

Any suggestions of racing series more interesting than F1? I tried to watch Blancpain, Super GT, IMSA, Le Mans - all of them seem to have almost non-existent level of overtaking (even worse than in F1 imho)

In office, adding screenshot visual studio startup splash screen to the wallpaper and watch the dev. Best moment is when they see visual studio being first thing to start after system reboot.

Not nation wide technically speaking - in 10 oblasts(regions) out of 24

I converted from mouse&click guy to command-line&scripting guy thanks to my employer who made my workstation a vm I had to rdp to over slow network.
