Google has its own way to determine location and it is very accurate.
You should send them cease-and-desist letter.

Due to the depletion of IPv4 IP address, IPv6 addressing is the future.

I don't think you can buy it. The IP address is owned by registry and you can only lease it.

Re:Ask HN: VPN causes IP geolocation to work backwards? on Sunday September 25, 2022 @09:58PM (#32978488)
If you are enabling GPS or MAC address sharing in your web browser, Google will still know your exact location even if you are using VPN.
It should be due to trade sanction. They will use IP geolocation service such as IP2Location to determine countries to comply. However, it is not 100% accurate.
Re:NordVPN Review on Thursday September 01, 2022 @02:24AM (#32672694)
Many NordVPN IP addresses are detected by IP2Proxy service and make it hard to use with streaming service.

Maybe it is using the language information in the browser to determine the default language.

For IP geolocation, did you see Germany if you visit https://www.ipaddress.my?

Does it spoof IP location?

@desiarnezjr is right. It is painful for merchant to receive a chargeback. Merchants need to dispute the chargeback by providing sufficient documents. You can refer to https://www.fraudlabspro.com/resources/tutorials/how-to-disp... for those required documents by different payment gateway.

Re:Who's Attacking My Server? on Monday March 14, 2022 @02:58AM (#30669259)
In our environment, blocking all traffics from data centers are effective to prevent malicious attacks. You can get the data center ranges from IP2Proxy database.

We need to whitelist a few important servers that we are working with to prevent lock-down of good traffics.

Google might be retrieving more information other than IP address to determine your location. Try to clear cache, disable GPS and wifi geolocation.

Need to read the fine print. If it is using "processing fee" instead of "fine". It sounds more reasonable.
Re:How to use dig on Saturday December 04, 2021 @07:21PM (#29445601)
How about IP geolocation? Is it possible to query service such as IP2Location via dig?
The script recommended a few residential proxy providers. However, there are proxy detection services like ip2proxy.com that could detect residential proxies. I wonder how good is this script.
