"was similar to the causative strain (Epilink/96) in the first known person-to-person transmission of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome caused by ANDV, which occurred in El Bolsón, Argentina, in 1996"
Let's see what gemini says in response to a more realistic prompt: https://gemini.google.com/share/f0bcbe46c337
Well, look at that. 1.5 lbs of chicken breast in the oven @425 for 10 minutes, and a minute or two of broiling should do the trick.
Unlike all human-written recipes I found, it doesn't give the temperature to cook it to.
> When Sam Altman was ousted as CEO of OpenAI on November 17, 2023, Kara Swisher started tweeting up a storm of “scoopage,” as she referred to her calls with high-ranking tech figures. Over the days Altman was on the outside, Swisher helped to craft a narrative that a board stacked with his internal rivals had pulled off a coup without a legitimate reason. The face of the AI boom had been betrayed and deserved to retake his position at the helm.
> She’s chosen a few CEOs to more regularly criticize now that they don’t give her the access she craves, but there are many more whose narratives she will happily help turn into the official record whenever it will help them. Altman is in that group, and six months after his removal and return as CEO of OpenAI, it’s become very apparent that Swisher was echoing the Altman line and defending his interests.
I'm not sure that's the case. Every value in this forecast is absurd, I actually think the author is sincere in there feeling that they are being extremely skeptical.
I'm not sure that's true. I wouldn't be surprised, in fact, if it suggested the opposite, it seems possibly even likely that someone who is suicidal is much, much more likely to seek out fantasies that would make their suicide into something more like this person may have.
Sure, 4 months apart but the xbox consoles have been out for about 5 years, those 4 months don't really make that much difference at this point.
Tesla is pretty widely regarded as non-luxury. If not for their price, they'd probably best fit into economy class. At best, only the model S and X would be considered luxury cars, and look at how the sales of those have totally cratered.
Not if they believed the CEO of Tesla, he was out there telling them they would be buying an appreciating asset. And now, that might sound dumb (and in hindsight very clearly is), but there were a lot of people who did believe.
They know where they stand when there is a safety driver behind the wheel. I'd expect if that data were really good, they'd be less secretive about it. But still, it says very little about where they stand without that driver.

Those countries basically don't exist, or rather they just haven't caught up yet. From 1985 to 2016, there are 117 countries where obesity has increased by more that 10.0% (in absolute terms). In no country was the increase less than 1.9% (which was vietnam, where 1.9% in absolute terms is a 10x increase in the percent of people who are obese).
But, more importantly, you missed a bunch of relevant categories:
V89.2 (Person injured in unspecified motor-vehicle accident, traffic) 80,434

V03.1 (Pedestrian injured in collision with car, pick-up truck or van, traffic accident) 15,129
V43.5 (Car occupant injured in collision with car, pick-up truck or van, driver injured in traffic accident) 9,810
V29.9 (Motorcycle rider [any] injured in unspecified traffic accident) 8,410
V29.4 (Driver injured in collision with other and unspecified motor vehicles in traffic accident) 7,688
V47.5 (Car occupant injured in collision with fixed or stationary object, driver injured in traffic accident) 6,379
V49.9 (Car occupant [any] injured in unspecified traffic accident) 6,349
V23.4 (Motorcycle rider injured in collision with car, pick-up truck or van, driver injured in traffic accident) 5,851

What a weird comparison. Yes, picking a group of universities that comprises 64 campuses is going to have more students than a group with a small fraction of that.
"In addition, we aim to not only trigger and control lightning, but also to harness its energy. Future efforts will focus on developing technologies for capturing and storing lightning energy for potential use (Figure 7)."
From the article:
> In a classic Mother Jones cover story from 1977, reporter Mark Dowie spent six months investigating the deadly Ford Pintos and found that the company rushed to create and distribute the cars to beat the competition
I don't know how they can be clearer that that is talking about the development of the Ford Pinto, not the cybertruck.
