The Skoda I just rented in Portugal has real controls but they were really horrible. Even once I got used to their locations, I regularly made something happened than I wanted. Rear windows open instead of front, etc. There's even a control for the digital dashpanel enticing one to play with the display while driving.

I've had my Boox Nova Air for about 10 days now and it feels like a great piece of gear. Loving it so far.

Anecdotal: I've had more cars than bikes stolen (6 cars, two bikes if you include my daughter's).

In the Netherlands, most package delivery companies, including TNT Post, will attempt (after you're discovered to not be home) to deliver to the neighbors. After another attempt at your home, you have go pick it up at their office.

TNT Post has "offices" located in many local stores so that's pretty easy.

I rather suspect that the NL number plated vehicles are simply driving on the (for them) incorrect side of the road. I find it difficult myself when I visit the UK (annually) to keep proper distances on the wrong (again, for me) side of the car/road.
