Given the criticality to National security interests, perhaps the US government should have brought the stick with heavy taxes / penalties for not having the US Based plant instead of the carrot of more corporate subsidies.
This is still a US based company, with US leadership

That moat document was published by a single software engineer, not some exec or product leader.
Humans dont really grasp exponential improvements. You wont have much time to regulate something that is improving exponentially.

on Thursday January 26, 2023 @09:38PM (#34541790)
The NIH and the CDC have objectively failed, on pure data. Autism rates were 1 in 2500 in 1980, now 1 in 44. Peanut allergies have tripled. Autoimmune diseases are up 50-100%. Obesity rates have tripled in past 50 years.
At this point, it's either complete incompetence by health regulators, or malice. There are clearly environmental factors at play!

650 years does not show a natural cycle. Pull up a temperature chart of hundreds of thousands or millions of years.
The planet has been +- 10 degrees from here. There were millions of years without ice caps even

But the real test should be, how much safer is this than drivers not using the feature

on Saturday June 11, 2022 @03:52PM (#31707683)
This article tries to put the blame partially on Ukraine. These media outlets are just extensions of the democrat party. The amount of money printed in the past 2 years, along with Covid shortages, are causing inflation. Stop blaming someone else, own it, and fix it.

on Saturday May 28, 2022 @04:46PM (#31543669)
The fed was created for the banks, not the people. It’s the lender of last resort, to provide backstops and bailouts to banks, owned by banks.
The employment mandate of the Fed wasn’t added until much, much later

There's a difference between a rigorous scientific method providing confirmation evidence, and empiricism. Enpricism is the state of the world that is true, and you don't need science to observe empirical facts.
