Mizrahim / Eastern Jews and Black African Jews were also treated as Guinea Pigs by the European Jews; they gave the children thousands of times more powerful x-rays than allowed amount, several died instantly, many have died of cancer.
Are you capable of rational thought? Are you talking about the settler state Israel which doesn't give equal rights to the natives yet allows Americans and Russians to move there based on their mother's religion or some other fictional country? A regime which has a separate set of laws for two groups based on their race, color or creed is referred to as an apartheid regime.
59% of Israelis approve of the term apartheid and support the discriminatory policies of their country:

in case you had not realised, this will not last. The US (and its client states such as Canada and some tiny Pacific islands) cannot keep your status as superior and keep giving you shielding despite bombings, home demolitions and new Jewish-only settlements. Either you have to give at least nominally equal rights to Palestinians or you have to prepare for the Algerian solution (French settlers had to pack up and leave). Until that, your apartheid state should be boycotted monetarily, diplomatically and culturally.
Germany had to end the occupation of France and the rights of French were not that of second class citizens when they did all the nice cooperative things you mentioned.
If you are more enlightened and you feel that I am the one who is ignorant I will appreciate it when you correct me.
However, if you only attack my personality rather than countering what I said then I would assume that I didn't say anything wrong.
Take your hasbara somewhere else. Saudi, China etc are not settler states which deny equal rights to their people of certain race or ethnicity or religion, and they don't get $3 billion in aid from US for 7 million people of a preferred race only. Israeli apartheid regime gets more aid than sub-Saharan Africa and entire Latin America combined. Saudi, China etc haven't violated dozens or UN resolutions and don't get US diplomatic shielding for their war crimes. They are criticised for their brutal actions and so should Israeli terror be criticised. Stop demanding special treatment for your settler state. You can talk when you give equal rights to Palestinians, when you give the natives the right to return, at least the same rights as a US-born settler, if not more because they are the rightful owners of their land.
What is a good place for this new startup? Maybe Al-Arakib which is a Palestinian Bedouin village where peopel have been living for hundreds of years and have deeds from Ottoman era but the settler startup nation keeps demolishing their homes? http://mondoweiss.net/2012/06/al-araqib-demolished-for-the-3...

Let's promote the start up culture of these settlers who continue to occupy the remaining 22% land since 1967 and built Jewish-only settlements on the land stolen every day. Let's kick out the natives, kill them in the concentration camp (Gaza) and build a new startup on their land!
Is it too late to fight for the rights of the average Joe / Jane who might be white / European (i.e. "real American" in the eyes of the mainstream)?
It's all correlated, you can't advocate torture, bombings, drones, wiretapping, deportations for being here illegally (say, Latinos or Asians who who moved here a little after the Anglo-Saxons got done killing almost all the original Americans) for certain groups and then demand justice for some others.
And while we are at it let's continue to cut social services at home as we hand over another 3 billion to Israeli apartheid and a few billion to Egyptian Yemeni and Saudi butchers so that they can continue suppressing the people that don't belong to the chosen race.

PS: Did we all forget that the US military mass-murderers and Black Water / Xe / Academy mercenaries who went on killing sprees in Iraq and Afghanistan are all roaming free except maybe one guy who got a slap on the wrist (6 months?) for killing innocent men and children? Compare that to 12 years for uploading a video. Is there any doubt that there are separate laws (or separate application of laws) for Muslims?
Various Christian terrorists are let go without any qualms while several Muslims have been rotting in jails without any trial or charges, or even worse, after the courts determined that there is nothing against them.
Hutaree Milita's (Christian terrorists) were all released even though they had plans to kill government / law enforcement officials.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hutaree#Michigan_Militia_and_th...
The United States Attorney's Office stated that the Hutaree allegedly planned "to kill an unidentified member of local law enforcement and then attack the law enforcement officers who gather in Michigan for the funeral".[14][15] The press release further stated that nine had been indicted by a federal grand jury in Detroit on charges of seditious conspiracy, attempted use of weapons of mass destruction, teaching the use of explosive materials, and possessing a firearm during a crime of violence. The indictment said that the Hutaree planned to attack law enforcement vehicles during the funeral procession for the officer or officers they planned to kill, using explosively formed penetrator improvised explosive devices (which under federal law are considered "weapons of mass destruction").[15]
Compare that to the various cases in which Muslim Americans were convicted and sentenced for tens of years because of their thoughts or their writings or for uploading a video on youtube. None of that is exaggerated, really a kid was arrested for uploading a video and was facing decades in prison.
Tarek Mehanna - no violence, no crime committed except thought crimes. Sentenced for 17 years.
http://www.salon.com/2012/04/13/the_real_criminals_in_the_ta...
A pre-teen (or teen?) Canadian kid was abducted from Afghanistan and he was put in Guantanamo. If he had pleaded not guilty he would have had got a much longer sentence so he pleaded guilty. He was not on US soil when he allegedly committed that crime (if it was a crime).
http://www.google.com/search?q=omar+khadr
His chief interrogator was Joshua Claus, who later pleaded guilty to abusing detainees to extract confessions following the in-custody death of wrongly accused Dilawar that same year.[81]
Jubair Ahmad, sentenced for uploading a youtube video and exchanging Youtube messages with a relative of a terrorist organization. The uploading of video is "material support" in the eyes of the system when the guy is a Muslim.
http://tribune.com.pk/story/364387/us-court-hands-12-year-se...
When Hutaree militia was being given material support (military gear, cameras, guns) which appears to be more than youtube video and involved actual weapons of mass destruction, they were all released.
The Bushes and Obamas and Clintons will take turns to continue the mass-murders abroad and mass-violations of privacy at home (or even illegal abduction and torture of American citizens as long as they have a Muslimy name). Meanwhile there will be some musical chair shows to give the public the "choice" between one mass-murderer and another.

Liberty and Justice for Non-Muslims
By ANDREW ROSENTHAL
Since the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, genuine concerns about national security as well as politicking and fear have led to a shift in the balance between civil liberties and law enforcement. That much is indisputable, and widely discussed. Yet it’s rarely acknowledged that the attacks have also led to what’s essentially a separate justice system for Muslims.
In this system, the principle of due process is twisted and selectively applied, if it is applied at all.
So US-sponsored Israeli terrorists bombing Palestinian women and children will also make it to hacker news top page? Syria's tyrant is not a US-sponsored one so we must highlight his brutality?
How about US-sponsored Egyptian, Yemeni, Bahraini and other butchers? I don't remember seeing anything about their misery making it to the first page of Hacker News.

The prime German daily, the center-right Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, has a new report (in German) about the Houla massacre. The author is Rainer Hermann who studied and speaks Arabic, Turkish and Farsi. Hermann also has a PhD in economics and wrote his thesis about the modern Syrian social history. He currently lives in Abu Dhabi and has been reporting from the Middle East for over 22 years.
>Obama trying to kill a terrorist and then accidentally killing civilians is not terrorism.
>It all comes down to intent, no?
Oh yeah, when we bomb wedding parties out intent is good, when they killed civilians their intent was bad, that was simple, now I get it.
https://www.google.com/search?q=afghanistan+wedding+bombed
Clinton knowingly bombed Sudan pharmaceuticals factory (I have posted the link somewhere on this page) and killed half million infants by sanctions alone (1996 UN estimate of the period 1991-1996), Bush knowingly went to Iraq when there was no link to any attack on US, Obama went into Libya for no good reason (oil contracts), Obama has killed hundreds of civilians in Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan and Afghanistan with unmanned drone attacks and his latest piece of art is to label all adult males present in the site where he wanted to bomb as "militants".
That's neat of Pres Obombya, Americans own the whole world; the Afghans, Somalis, Yemenis, Pakistanis just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, so they are all terrorists. Let's kill them and call them militants unless proven otherwise (just imagine Osama using the same logic, oh there were bad guys in those buildings, the intent was to kill only those who were bombing Iraq).
http://www.juancole.com/2012/05/how-obama-changed-definition...
when an American (white Christiany) kills innocent CIVILIANS (whether American civilians in Colorado or Iraqi or Afghan civilians) he is not called a terrorist
but when an American (brown, Muslimy) kills SOLDIERS he is called a terrorist.
What is terrorism? Killing soldiers (who are trained to kill people) or killing civilians (who did not sign up for any murder and terror)?
Or is terrorism the act when non-white folks (Americans or otherwise) or non-Christians or non-Americans kill anyone? Apparently it's not called terrorism when Bush kills 1 million people or Obama kills Afghan women and children who are celebrating at weddings.
How is the delivery method not terrorism? If a guy named Muhammad kills 12 ordinary civilians he is a terrorist but if a guy named Andy/Joe/Steve kills 12 / 112 people in Iraq / Afghanistan by going on a shooting spree / dropping a bomb on a civilian home / aspirin factory / wedding and its not terrorism? There was a Muslimy-named guy who killed American soldiers (not civilians) at Fort Hood and he was labelled a terrorist. The guy named James who has killed 12 civilians is not a terrorist, he is a "suspect".
1998 Clinton knowingly bombed the aspirin factory that provided cheap medicines to millions of Africans:

<BEGIN QUOTE> In 1985, when I was the Deputy Director of the Reagan White House Task Force on Terrorism, they asked us—this is a Cabinet Task Force on Terrorism; I was the Deputy Director of the working group—they asked us to come up with a definition of terrorism that could be used throughout the government. We produced about six, and each and every case, they were rejected, because careful reading would indicate that our own country had been involved in some of those activities.
After the task force concluded its work, Congress got into it, and you can google into U.S. Code Title 18, Section 2331, and read the U.S. definition of terrorism. And one of them in here says—one of the terms, "international terrorism," means "activities that," I quote, "appear to be intended to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination or kidnapping."
Yes, well, certainly, you can think of a number of countries that have been involved in such activities. Ours is one of them. Israel is another. And so, the terrorist, of course, is in the eye of the beholder.

In 2008 Lenovo came out with X300, a 13" 3lb laptop with DVD drive built-in and 1400 x 900 resolution. It was priced about the same as a 13" Macbook Air, it had lesser battery time than MB Air, slightly more weight, but it had optical drive in that weight, replaceable battery and it came with plenty of ports (USB, VGA, LAN).
Too bad they don't make any 13" ones any more (X1 doesn't count, it is not a true Thinkpad). They replaced it with the 14" 4lb T400s (1400 x 900), then T410s (1400 x 900), T420s (1600 x 900) and newly announced T430s. I think many developers would want to get an X330 with i7 and 1600 x 900 at 3lbs.
The Russians weren't in Cuba for no reason, we were in their backyard before they started their attempts to close the "doomsday gap" (quoting that term from Dr. Strangelove).
Quoting Blum:
Let's also not forget that Eastern Europe became communist because Hitler, with the approval of the West, used it as a highway to reach the Soviet Union to wipe out Bolshevism forever, and that the Russians in World War I and II, lost about 40 million people because the West had used this highway to invade Russia. It should not be surprising that after World War II the Soviet Union was determined to close down the highway.
To the troll:aaaaaaaaaaaaaa
What is your point? Did you just sign up another account to leave this useless comment?
Your message doesn't clarify whether you prefer wiretapping of all civilians or just Muslims. Or perhaps you love bombing civilians around the world with your tax dollars? I am not sure what your objection was, I thought I gave plenty of references to prove my point; that it is all linked together and we cannot fight one little battle for privacy separate from the so-called war on terror (or war on communism or war on whatever minority group or whatever "outside" group you would like to hate).
You can't just demand liberty and justice for some, not only because it's hypocritical but because it won't work that way.
I might be wrong but you have to enlighten me with your ideas.
I just checked in paint and I'm surprised they have a color picker built-in!! MSPaint has finally evolved in Win 7 and I am learning that just now :) (I knew this version has zoom and a couple of other nicer options but OMG I had no idea that even the color picker is included)
My personal guesstimate is that the general American public is more aware of such dirty things than it was, say, 20 years ago and I think it is due to internet, mainly due to alternative news sources that would get the truth out because the lame-stream media would rather tell you songs about democracy and not tell you about the secrecy and anything bad the government and corporations have been doing.
These wiretappings were probably more focus on black liberation movements and "Commies" a few decades ago, then the focus has been on Muslims now that the US is not supporting Osama bin Laden type in Afghanistan (they are still propping up the regimes in Saudia etc and supporting Osama-types in Libya, Syria etc).
The shameless NYPD spied on entire Muslim community and on ordinary citizens without any probable cause, without any legal authority. Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder lied about it and the Department of (in)justice hasn't done anything to correct it.

If the parents don't have enough money to feed the kids, the first thing on the mind would not be the next programming language to learn, it would be about the meal for the next afternoon. Compare that kid to someone whose parents are able to afford the education of kids at the top, most expensive business school or law school of the country. They are not competing at an equal level. Unfortunately the average black happens to be much poorer than the average white (although there are more poor whites than the total number of poor blacks but that's because the blacks are about 13% of total, whites are about 72% of the total). Study finds median wealth for single black women at $5
Among the most startling revelations in the wealth data is that while single white women in the prime of their working years (ages 36 to 49) have a median wealth of $42,600 (still only 61 percent of their single white male counterparts), the median wealth for single black women is only $5.
