Re:How many of the 170k English words do you know? on Saturday June 20, 2026 @12:25AM (#48606333)
Weird. I got 87/100 and my score was 71,900.

I fumbled the Advanced at 14/20, but got 17/20 on each of the last 2 sections.

Found this comment from the author: "tiki.li is a test variant of easylang.online"

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32319578

I've always heard of this as Easylang https://easylang.online/

Is it just a re-branding as Tiki?

Anyway, the author does AoC every year in it: https://easylang.online/aoc/ which I admit I have referenced during my own attempts.

That's when you ask for the re-issue rate.

Any decent guides on how to mine some of the altcoins like ppc, xpm, or qrk?
Re:Meet Coin (YC W13), a startup creating a universal credit card on Thursday November 14, 2013 @01:46PM (#6734457)
What's to prevent some (dishonest) merchant from cycling through all the cards in your Coin and charging each one?
Re:OpenBSD 5.4 Released on Friday November 08, 2013 @02:39PM (#6698596)
Yes. I basically just use it for router/firewall with pf.
Re:OpenBSD 5.4 Released on Saturday November 02, 2013 @10:09AM (#6659226)
I'm not sure you'd consider it "cool", but I've been using one of these for the past 5 months with OpenBSD 5.3 with no issues:

No. He no longer has to refrain from posting or linking to disparaging remarks about Nissan.

"Injunctive relief may not restrain Nissan Computer from placing links on nissan.com and nissan.net to other sites that post negative commentary about Nissan Motor; to this extent, the relief granted is overbroad, reaches non-commercial speech, and runs afoul of the FTDA and the First Amendment."

Who the hell were the geniuses that actually indicted him? And to sit there for 5 months? Where's his speedy trial?

The fact that they have the Business Tax Benefit selected by default is also very disingenuous.
I'm surprised no one mentioned this one: http://xkcd.com/208/

As if most of us can afford one. When you take in to account the sticker price of these EVs, I'd rather keep my Civic and pay for gas.

Re:Google Chrome already No. 1 among free iOS apps on Friday June 29, 2012 @01:38PM (#4177882)
Cool, thanks. Guess I haven't searched in a while. I know at one point there were no competing mail apps ... just folder/organizer type apps.
Re:Google Chrome already No. 1 among free iOS apps on Friday June 29, 2012 @01:19PM (#4177758)
Why does Apple allow competing browsers in the App Store, but not competing mail clients? For me the iPhone's mail app has terrible IMAP support, but there aren't any other options.
They never really tell you, but I think most of these deals fall apart after the show airs:

Agreed. Not that it matters much, but I just took Rework out of my wish list on Amazon. Reading his tweets in response to this has totally turned me off to 37Signals.

The Act is called "National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012". Is this something that is passed every year? Could the indefinite detention clauses be removed in the 2013 "version" ?
