Re:There's no such thing as a small software team anymore on Thursday August 20, 2026 @11:30PM (#49383425)
From experience it is more human nature to make spaghetti in monoliths but a well disciplined monolith would be as confict free as the equivalent microservices.

He misses the bit about Microservices where you need to integrate changes across services and avoid undocumented API spec from your changes blowing something up. Getting alignment and so on. There are probably agentic solutions but this article misses a lot of detail and doesn't even hand wave it.
Re:Why Aren't Smart People Happier? on Thursday August 20, 2026 @06:56PM (#49381403)
I would rather know who is happy, what is meant by happy and why those cohorts are more happy. Smart may or may not be the primary thing. E.g. if parenthood makes one "happy" (defn. needed) and being smart makes you forgo that for ambition that would be interesting to know.

737s are fine its dog barking that gets me.
Compelling pricing compared to exe.dev etc. Because this is Lambdaesque.

How to you avoid the problem of someone 24/7 ing an agent at max CPU and RAM (you would lose money).

Also can you talk to backup/recovery and what happens if you pivot away. I guess main thing is ability to do a takeout from SSD so can use a different host.

Might take free tier for spin.
