Feels very Halloween-y especially with that vampire N and the sharp serifs. Not a candidate for my rotation.
The author here is
Claude (possibly something that distilled it).
Dude was like “write me a diatribe about AI arguing why coding agents don’t make sense”
Fentanyl is widely used in surgery
> I’ve been testing it for one week
So, you haven’t had enough time to even encounter most edge cases :)
Anything that’s complaining about prompt injection should at least try not to sound AI generated. It lessens the heroism of fighting the mega corps. I’m not even saying this ideologically, I just want to be able to finish reading the article
But these two things are essentially merging, which is the implicit thesis here. White collar being those who manage capital and blue collar as those who manage the delivery, service, product, or process. The latter having lower agency than the former, and generally perceived and measured as a liability by the former.
But AI is coming for capital allocators as well, too, so we are seeing more and more white collar people getting “blue collarized”.
Perhaps quickbooks is the better analogy?
The part about founders not coding is totally untrue. But I’ll see myself out off your porch
Note that unlike prior on device embedding models, this seems to be trained with MRL, not MatFormers, meaning you don’t get to shrink the model weights alongside the lower dimensional embeddings, unfortunately. Likely there’s not good research for how to do MatFormers for multimodal yet?
Only ten day interval? I felt Astra got nerfed within a week
100% agree. Every model and launch feel like huge leaps then huge nerfs to the point it doesn’t feel like we’re going anywhere. Especially this year in particular for coding.
However, it is the case that other industries like 3d graphics and so forth have experienced a frontier shift so perhaps there’s still some advancement
Don’t know why this is down voted. Jensen Huang has literally made this comment on stage when asked critical questions.
His company has been public longer than you’ve been solvent.
Um, how is that not impressive
The quote is so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies in it
I’ve had this happen to me several time over the past weeks and it’s gone from quaint to humorous to farcical to outright “is-the-world-gaslighting-me” insane.
Just today I was reading Stanley Druckenmiller’s op ed in WSJ. This dude is like 80 and has made billions of dollars, and he got Claude to write his op ed???
Unbelievable. And the tells are so obvious, yet people still love the Claude-like quips and odd grammatical choices that read like halfway asshole halfway mid-sentence confusion.

This probably corresponds to compute. ElevenLabs can burn compute for now, Suno can’t.
The music shows the post before legal got to put their hands on it lmao..
Formalizing proofs in Lean has gotten dramatically easier since the formalizations available in 2005. And Lean’s mathlib has done most of the underlying work so that you have its axioms and necessary lemmas baked in. You can think in terms of standard abstractions that look very much like the exact notation in the undergrad textbook.
That said, I am not in any way trying to discount how incredible of an achievement it is to formalize a millennium prize winning algorithm in Lean. I mean just look at the code that OpenAI published. It’s like an encyclopedia of different fluid dynamics concepts.
Cross shard transactions are “coming soon”. So, this is just like having multiple postgres clusters.
If the agent is able to “decide” when a loop should occur vs when an output token is produced, that effectively moves the CoT inside the architecture. While that’s not what is happening here, it’s clearly a plausible way we could see CoT disappear.
This is with the caveat that OpenAI uses their own harness for this:
> On ARC-AGI-3, GPT-6 Astra was run with our responses API harness , which changes two settings to better match real-world performance. The changes do not specifically target ARC-AGI-3.
> There are some things that are unnameable
Like what?
Oh wait…
This concept of a free lunch was never true. In a competitive dynamic, speed and performance were always worth optimizing, comparing, and improving.
One of the primary reasons for this is that computers operate in a vast range of orders of magnitude. There’s several orders of magnitude between cache local cpu operation and dram, then several to disk, then several to network, then several to globally durable guarantees. When your code has literally thirteen orders of magnitude to optimize under, there’s never a free lunch. You always need to understand your stuff.
In general, Claude family models write absolutely terrible comments, docs, and prose. It’s basically the number 1 thing that caused everyone on my team to migrate away from Anthropic models completely.
With the Grok code incident in recent memory I have zero interest in trusting our company’s crown jewels with this service.
Agents are here. Just self host and let the agents help cover your ass in network config, HA, whatever.
A few years in between releases with a sane versioning system seems fine to me. If you don’t want new features don’t build with that new toolchain.
It’s not javascript where you need to support all possible browsers.
Everything but self hosted, is it?
Genuinely curious what these constant changes are. In fact I don’t feel they’re moving fast enough to give us improvements to core.
The strategy here is that the same services that Stripe offers for payments have corollaries in the LLM world. Security, user management, perhaps injection attack monitoring, etc.
However I think they dearly overpaid for this as the core technology behind Stripe (fraud detection and integration with global banks) is hard to replicate. Even with the features mentioned above I think the technologies behind OpenRouter are vastly easier to replicate, perhaps even trivial now.
