It's not like that Google needs a foot in the door or rolodex - that's why they hired all those SAP and Oracle folks.

Why does the article draws parallels to consumer marketplaces? This is about Google Cloud.

20% for billing operations that likely require upfront integration work sounds steep. Will GCP only lower the fees or catch up to other comparable marketplaces that provide much more value in selling listed partners through marketing campaigns and their sales teams?
