Where will you put it up? Interested to have a go at it with some Russian speaking friends.
This is actually relatively comforting to me. Putler is at least trying to say they are using precision strikes.

A lot harder to uphold once a tactical nuke is used... My worry after the world is so blatently defying Putler with MiGs & other armarments...

I'm 35, I'm an addict as well. I suffer from a grinding omnipresent feeling of wasting time.... I have a wife cery anti drugs. My cou try has legalized weed... Very rarely use it... Once a year maybe. But I have incredible rich experiences being stoned, being in the moment. Maybe to truly check out we need some form of drugs... Dopamime shots retain us, THC gives us temp relief?

Nooo, the American cap markets are unfair? What a surprise.

America is possibly the most self deluded country in the world.

Go enjoy your American dream, the rich people that is.

My thinking as well...

They reverse engineer CEO's trackrecords... Good thing all these CEO's are blissfully unaware of their relative luck and build upon their own ability to fix anything.

I see it like this... Crashes will happen if we block self driving cars. Crashes costs lives... People will die. But if they die and the algorhythm learns from it and prevents the crash the next time... In a couple of years of further crashes maybe we can iron out most flaws and we save lives.
I've been looking at buying a bigger home than the current one I own. It's near impossible as prices keep on going up. Very disapppinted that cities have to arrange this - it means that some cities won't yet introduce anything.

I can already see investors swooping into those markets without the ban... i.e. Haarlem where I live will be among them.

Re:Fed likely to keep raising rates on Friday October 12, 2018 @02:39AM (#18199712)
Lack of inflation is not easily understood through the lens of individuals.

Better to look at the fractional reserve system. The Fed creates money (M0), a lot of it in the shape of quantitative easing. But it was offsetting the deleveraging banks (reduction in M, M2 and M3). M0 = cash, M1= M0+ short-term instruments, M2= M1 + medium-term, M3 = M2 + long-term stuff /mortgages.

Even now, banks are less leveraged due to more stringent capital requirements (think Basel accords).

Translation to inflation is tricky. It's about demans vs. supply at its fundamentals - too much supply them you introduce inflation. Since banks can create money, supply is governed by M1,M2,M3 depending on the horizon. Demand is the economy which looks to be booming. Plus in the case of the US, the dollar is still the global reserve currency. So we have China, developing countries wanting more dollars. And the world still uses it as a vehicle currency, trade in brent oil is in dollars.

And we have inflation expectations - which is why the Fed is independent. And Trump should be quiet. The Fed will target 2%, thus we expect it to be 2%.

"If it’s easy for you to imagine a conscious robot, then you probably side with Dennett."

The Zero shot translation for google translate is system generated language that a computer created itself. If we were to extrapolate that to a computer that can do the creation of sometjing and go about its own path of creation that is to some extent random - can't we create some form of conscious...? I side with Daniel - consciousness is a muscle the brain.

I was taught pinyin at Chinese university - too bad the Chinese textbooks didn't include the genesis of pinyin - interesting, R.I.P.
