It is misleading because it is a very specific case in California/US. For people in other countries these things don't apply. We have 10k euro discount to Electric cars for instance. It would apply to both cars equally.

I have the exact same headphones, and while I don't have the 'exploding' sound when listening on the phone, I do have the constant hissing and it is driving me insane!

Well, I know people that made a living and brought up two children with the help of Herbalife, so it is not THAT bad. It is not easy, and not a good job, on those points I do agree though.

You do have to consider that this is an 8 core, and more and more applications are being developed with this in mind. Whoever still thinks that Single threaded performance is the most important, lives in the past.

That is important though in case of low maple syrup production as they export a lot of it.

What is the green "shadow" on the right of the moon? I'm not saying this is fake, but it looks like what I see in some greenscreen videos. I am really curious.

Re:Vulkan – Graphics and computing belong together
on Tuesday March 03, 2015 @04:30AM (#9136844)
Vulkan is the evolution of Mantle (get it... get it :)) ?) AMD contributed a lot to the development of this API and then collaborated with Microsoft to create DX12. Mantle will remain as a testbed of future technologies

Well, considering the Japanese actually tried to surrender before the bombs fell to the Russians is totally not important... and that they found out about the 2 N-Bombs only after they surrendered to the Americans. /s

Sure, but at the same time, other company sell more than apple in every market apple is in. Apple is like a small drop in the ocean of other manufacturers.

The webpage gave the correct first two letters of my password...but that was changed more than a year and half ago, so this leak must be VERY old. I have been using last pass for the past time and when I got it I immediately changed my google password. This is the reason why I'm saying is that old.

I keep seeing people complaining about some ads being not filtered by ABP...why not just right click those ads and block them. No more ads. Haven't had any with it on for some time (except on some sites where I want to see the ads to help those specific communities)

I do not understand this trend of 'flat design'. It looks horrible. It started with Apple and the other copied it. Now microsoft has it, google started implementing it, samsung as well. It looks horrible.

Isn't metal basically the same thing as mantle ? By that I mean a low level API that has direct access to the GPU ? Also Dx12 is said to do this soon.
