Perhaps in some theoretical difference but I've never had anyone else get into my phone so... shrug. I trust Apple enough to beleive they would not have shipped (and continued to support) the feature if it was actually a reasonable attack vector.
There are settings to make faceid work better. With those enabled I have no problem accessing it with sunglasses and a mask on.
Turn it on on the passenger seat to keep your take out food warm while you drive home.
Also good for those of us with back issues. I use mine even in the summer sometimes for that reason.
RFC 2109 predates anything that vaguely resembles PHP, and Netscape (thus, defacto, basically everyone using the internet), had cookies 3 years before the RFC. PHPSESSID wasn't added until PHP 4 in 2000.
If you're going to be a bitchy pedant, you'd damn well better be CORRECT.
Unfortunately NY transit sucks if you're disabled and can't deal with stairs.
No. Huge difference between exact matching and fuzzy search.
NBA has had ads on jerseys since the 2017 season.
MLB since 2023.
Absolutely not. Makes about as much sense as judging a car based on how good an airplane it makes.
They don't. They lend to the target company BEFORE the buyout.
They sell off everything of value before it implodes and cash out. THEN they let it implode with nothing but the debt remaining.
Why does everything have to be obsessed with growth? Especially with practically every (first world, at least) country having a birth rate well below replacement.
You haven’t seen either of the last two MSFS releases have you? They’re using high res satellite imagery of the entire globe. Even small towns are shockingly detailed.
True realism is often interesting though, which provides more long term engagement than fleeting shallow fun. Look at some of the hard core 3rd party addons for flight sims, for instance, which are so realistic they actually ship licensed versions of the real aircraft training manuals and checklists - because every switch and procedure works.
It's two english words both of which have negative conotations?
Lotta racists and other bigots that like a president that "agrees" with them.
Successful, sure.
Gold medal Olympic athletes who are also brain surgeons AND astronauts, no.
Depends on what chess rating you're talking about. Online at fast time controls, where many many more games get played at than OTB classical, the top super GMs are rated in the 3400-3600 range.
That was reverting a rename. Denali was the original name.
Oh, come on. What a bunch of scare mongering crap. Yes, if you tell Apple to store something on iCloud it...stores it on iCloud.
That your examples are rather weak proves my point, not the opposite.
Not in the slightest. Who do you believe works more for consumer privacy and security? Meta? Google? Microsoft?
That's because the UX/UI is utterly awful. It's cargo cult: the game. (And BTW my complaints have nothing to do with the controls. The actual UX is just... not thought out at all).
In what universe? Apple is by far the most consumer friendly big tech company.
On Mac it is very obviously quite a bit worse than both Chrome and Safari.
> It's also not winning on day to day work against Opus 5
In what universe? Hell, Opus 5 seems to be worse than Opus 4.6 at almost everything.
Some people like hardware that isn't a super out of date hunk of garbage. The pine stuff is horrible value, and just bad spec hardware.
> GUIs tend to be made for the non-technical iPhone audience.
Except for, you know, every serious professional application ever.
How so? The idea is you build all the OS specific stuff into the terminal, not into the programs running INSIDE the terminal. Think Infocom Z-Machine, at the ultimate level, although obviously emulating a full on virtual CPU is overkill.
In any case we can surely do better than emulating DEC hardware from 50 years ago.
