This doesn’t apply to all insurances and doesn’t address the actual question at hand. Should obese people, smokers, alcoholics, drug users, etc be denied medical care for the choices they make?

If not, is this insurance argument of yours based on actually wanting medical care changes for the benefit of all or just to intimidate more people into getting the vaccine?

You said it was a 4 car accident? She hit you from behind and you hit the car in front of you which hit the car in front of it? Did you end up hitting the car in front of you twice because she hit you twice?
I believe it also includes Canada.
Re:U.S. Covid death toll hits 1,500 a day amid delta scourge on Friday September 03, 2021 @08:32PM (#28411012)
How would one go about finding the data for the excess mortality due to delta?
It says secret forum on the side. Did you make an account and go browse in there or did you just look at the front page for a few seconds?
By waiting on the sidelines they risk being left behind by expanding technologies that they’re not a part of because they don’t believe in them like other companies.

While a car is a car, an full BEV is not pretty much the same as an ICE vehicle. This is the same mistake that Toyota and others seem to be making.

Compared to what? Coming from anything named Toyota the Tesla voice control is light years ahead.
Re:The CDC Needs to Stop Confusing the Public on Wednesday August 04, 2021 @11:47AM (#28062393)
Half the comments say the CDC messed up, the other half says they’ve done a decent job but have been hampered by politics and public opinion. Your belief is the CDC is fabricating the data about risks to vaccinated people?

What about the vaccine companies talking about booster shots to improve immunity? If it was already good enough why would anyone need more shots?

What about the amount of breakthrough cases that are happening? Covering those things up or not talking about them is misguiding and lying to the public.

Only when we get unbiased information can trust start to be regained.

China also lied and is still hiding data. Taking the CCP at face value Jan 2020-Mar 2020 proved to be a costly mistake.

They’re out there in many places going against the Mexican Cartels. Just because you’re not aware doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
So saying positive things about a good product makes him a shill? That’s a pretty low bar you set. Does this apply to all things in your life?
I doubt many people here know the leaders of the CCP, the president of former president of America, or many other people but go on making judgements about them all through this site. So it’s only when someone disagrees with your opinion you want to police their opinion?
Well it’s partly incorrect because it was the Model 3 not the Model S. So if they can’t even get the model correct (they were made years apart) how many other things are wrong in the story?
Re:My small revenge on Apple on Wednesday August 04, 2021 @11:18AM (#28062017)
Is there a safer alternative phone/os that can’t be broken into by Cellebrite?
Does it provide anything an ancient ATM doesn’t?
I’m under the impression this was government influenced. Anytime Apple has increased their encryption talk they are pressured by the feds.
Up until the last sentence you had me. Thanks for the laugh CCP.
I appreciate the use of medium term in this context.
I fully agree with this. It flys in the face of what I have even seen recommend on HN for TikTok. I’ve seen posts saying the algorithm on TikTok is the best and it gives great suggestions. I guess my question to you is, do you think TikTok has a superior algorithm to Facebook/YouTube or is promoting content on any level going to lead to misinformation?
Are you sure he was lying?
It may be good but no one (in America) wants 48 miles. People complain about the range on current EV’s during winter. A nice round number like 100 has a much better chance of appealing to consumers.
Compared to others (Charter) they are having a larger portion pulled back from them. They didn’t even receive the largest contract.
If I understand correctly SpaceX internet is from a satellite. Surely it would would in a larger area than a parking garage or a median right?
So all of the manufacturers are doing this? Why is only John Deere (Apple and Tesla for some reason) brought into this? If it’s a industry wide problem in farming shouldn’t we be discussing the issue in farming and not just three companies, two of which aren’t in the AG business?
I thought the blacklist for supercharging is on salvaged titles? You can still charge at home but not on the supercharging network.
Is the only purpose of the glue to make it harder to disassemble? If nothing else changed but glue wasn’t added would the product still function and look the same?
Are more laws better than free market? How did one company get so big and change all the rules in farming?

It’s hard to believe John Deere is the only company to buy from, so that leads me to lean towards maybe it’s the best company to buy from? If that’s the case shouldn’t they accept the product as it instead of trying to get legislators to change the rules?

It absolutely doesn’t reduce your chances of getting infected.
The US is a bit large. Where I’m from in the US of A they have them at every petrol station ;-)
