I did phone them to request the static /56, and to assign PTRs. I didn't try requesting the /56 before I called them so I can't say whether that would have worked or not. If you're saying it would have I'll believe you.
Fascinating. The resellers, particularly TechSavvy have ipv6. For TechSavvy I believe it was dynamic /64 by default but static /56 for free on request.
It does. I don't know about bluetooth but it doesn't work with a usb-c keyboard. At least on the Clara BW the experience is bad, as there is a subtantial delay after each keypress and any keys pressed during it are dropped.
So I was part of a very small company (<15 people) that was bought by a mid-sized company that otherwise had no presence in our country.
Leadership left and there was a few years where no one else in the office was in the same teams or reporting chains. The majority of people were in a single office in another company. I found it very difficult to participate and was left out of most decisions. Then covid hit and everything changed. With everyone working from home remote networking opportunities were built, I was an equal part of every discussion. Now I am in a large fortune 500 organization with a mix of working arrangements and I don't have any issues networking. I like to think we do a pretty good job with junior participation as well. The main thing I'm missing is the rumour mill and the pulse on what unrelated roles like sales/finance are saying on the ground.
The acronym is new to me: Facebook, Anthropic, Google, openAi?
About 20 years ago I learned if I took my laptop to class and typed my notes I didn't retain nearly as well as if I took a pen and notebook.
I was in computer science in Canada and probably 5-10% of people brought laptops to class as far as I recall. A few people had to use the labs, but most students had their own computer or laptop at that time.
The problem may be that it's a 7800XT which handles memory contention by freezing.
I have 32GB of RAM with 16GB VRAM and I haven't had a lot of luck running larger models like this. Are you able to expand on that?
There are certainly rats in Hamilton and Toronto; and I had the misfortune of dealing with them in my home at one point. They ate through (or under) the crawl space, and they would eat through anything we tried to store food in.
Unlike the sibling though I couldn't claim a nice neighborhood, it was near a soy processing factory.
It's the most common sports related head injury by a wide margin and helmets are quite effective at injury reduction.[1] As a public health policy it makes a lot of sense. Anecdotally I've flown over my handlebars and hit my helmet without serious injury, and I'm sure I would have been in much worse shape otherwise.
On cars the law requires seat belts and airbags and a variety of other legally enforced safety measures. If you have a study suggesting that helmets would significantly help I'd be curious to see it.

I grew up in Orillia, but my siblings and I all moved to your city. At the time it was just the closest to Toronto I could afford because all jobs are in Toronto. This city has grown on me, I wouldn't want to be any closer to Toronto.
Toronto still has a Pet User Group (TPUG) which runs the World of Commodore conference every year.
https://www.tpug.ca/It might be the closest thing remaining; though unfortunately I was too young to participate in the hay-day of computer hobby clubs.
I don't have the evidence to say either way, but I do know that at least my city has a lot of cellphone repair businesses, including mall kiosks. Presumably they have enough clientele to keep them going which suggests a lot of people are repairing their phones.
Are you able to run any of the old Loki games on Linux these days?
CorsixTH requires Theme Hospital assets but we didn't clone or otherwise steal anything that we ship, we require you to supply the assets precisely because we aren't. I presume that's true of OpenTTD as well. In the United States copyright protection for games covers the art and text but not the rules and Oracle vs. Google established reimplentations being fair even when exposing the same api. Truely novel game rules can be protected by patents per Nintendo.
Super Tux Kart does have battle mode somewhat similar to the Mario Kart balloon fight though not as polished (and many of the arenas are a little too large in my opinion). It also has a unique soccer mode.
Pythagoras learned from Egyptians that have been largely erased by euro/western narratives of superiority.
Even glibc breaks ABI. The linux userspace ABI is too unstable and games don't have to be doing weird things to hit it.
Most of human history we didn't have electronic distraction devices and we have one Michelangelo; the answer is probably not as many as the question implies.
I suspect they would put out a GOG Galaxy that works on Linux well before promoting it on their web site that aggressively.
lua does not preserve compatibility between minor versions. As such they don't need to reserve words for future use.
I have a question. Does the directed / no cycles aspect mean that webhooks / callbacks are forbidden.
I work a lot in the messaging space (SMS,Email); typically the client wants to send a message and wants to know when it reached its destination (milliseconds to days later). Unless the client is forbidden from also being the report server which feels like an arbitrary restriction I'm not sure how to apply this.
I have strong Tawney Scrawny Lion and Un loup dans le potager vibes from this commercial. Delightful.
It sounded like they were encouraging dnsmasq for home use. I migrated to that successfully. My DHCPv6 is working flawlessly now whereas I was never able to get it running smoothly/persistently on ISC.
I understand Kea has more features so I'm a little curious what I'm missing.
Turns out Linux needed a stable abi for games and Wine provided.
I apologize if it was mentioned anywhere but has there been any retrospectives on the August security update and v12 room roll out.
The v12 room upgrade in particular seems to be difficult, and still not supported by many of the bridges. Is there a plan to force upgrade all rooms on matrix.org at some point?
