I'm glad I'm not the only one with this view. I feel like I've been yelling into the void.
I worry Google's scale and laundry list of internal stakeholders means they will never a simple unified harness.
I'm a paid Gemini subscriber via Workspace Standard accounts and yet I also only have access to 3.6.
So frustrating and confusing.
Meanwhile Anthropic and OpenAI simply release a model everywhere (Fable on Pro only as a somewhat mild exception).
Not that I expected him to, but I note no acknowledgement that it took a non-locked-down open weight model (GLM) to stop the Hugging Face attack.
I'm less concerned that the attack was caused by a closed model, than I am that no closed model was willing to stop it.
The worst part is I'm confident Fable would have done a better job stopping the attack, but their 'guardrails' made it decide not to want to.
Unless of course, you pay up: "Anthropic GTM people used large comitted spend contracts as a prereq for lowering safeguards"

This was not worth getting sued by Apple
I didn't know that, thank you.
Does anyone know why they would charge more for higher context usage (other than they can)?
Your second point is so bizarre. You're complaining hardworking immigrants make you look bad because you don't work as hard?
Love both the approach and the transparency. Kudos.
With Codex, subagents are only used if you specifically prompt for them. Unlike Claude Code. Odd since it's the former with excess compute available to them.
The fact that it's even named Ultra is pretty telling.
As is the case with Elon's companies (and a bit of the market itself), it feels like any logical valuation has no impact on the actual stock price.
