Notepad++ maybe?

Re:Dum: An NPM scripts runner written in Rust on Wednesday March 23, 2022 @12:13PM (#30780001)
Go is more of an alternative for python/ruby than it is for C/C++.
Re:Twitter acquires Quill on Tuesday December 07, 2021 @10:59AM (#29473941)
So it was basically a message board?
Re:Twitter acquires Quill on Tuesday December 07, 2021 @10:57AM (#29473906)
Well not letting people export and purging all Quill DMs is not a good start.
Re:Ubuntu to Make Firefox Snap Default in 21.10 on Friday September 17, 2021 @10:15AM (#28565751)
Mobile is such a huge percent of market share so I doubt if one desktop distro changing the default browser moves Firefox more than 0.5%.
Re:The Linux Distributions of 1992 on Friday September 17, 2021 @10:08AM (#28565663)
My first was Slackware. Back when they would mail you a CD of the distro for free.
That's kind of the point of CentOS (or was). Sacrificing newer packages for stability.
So this is like a web version of Filemaker?
Re:Why Prefetch Is Broken on Wednesday June 02, 2021 @02:06PM (#27371973)
So still useful for images and other large files. Not so much with scripts.

I read it as they are having trouble making the computer usable now.

Why are we posting twitter rants now?
Sorry for the late reply, but it was https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=23391659

The main comments were people complaining about the foundation but I see you may have been pointing out the pocket recommendations.

Why did you include the Mozilla Foundation as an awful decision?
Re:GitHub was down on Friday March 12, 2021 @02:42PM (#26440015)
Because they likely get a large number of users doing git pull first thing Monday morning.
Re:Show HN: Dumbdown – A dumb alternative to Markdown on Wednesday January 20, 2021 @01:23PM (#25849929)
Then someone else would say "I really hate people" and add <blink>

They can just use a word processor then. I am not really seeing the target audience for this.
Re:Somerset cattle grid mistaken for wall by car sensors on Monday January 11, 2021 @10:41AM (#25730368)
It seems it isn't just auto drive. Cars with object collision detection are slamming on the brakes when they come near this cattle grid. Signs wouldn't help in that case.

Re:.NET Standard 2.1 on Monday November 05, 2018 @02:39PM (#18385234)
".NET Standard" is the specification that defines the available features. .NET Framework 4.7 (windows) and .NET Core 2.1 (cross-platform) both implement .NET Standard 2.0, meaning they have a shared feature set.
Re:.NET Standard 2.1 on Monday November 05, 2018 @02:31PM (#18385163)
It is. The WPF library is just a separate package that includes a lot of Windows API calls to allow .NET Core to talk to WPF.
> "In the very first episode, Gordon takes a little girl's hand who he's just met on the street, befriends her and takes her into his home to give her ice cream"

With this kind of normalization of hanging out with strangers on TV, I am not really surprised that children were more likely to be abducted in the 70's and 80's.

Re:AWS icon quiz on Monday August 06, 2018 @10:14AM (#17697700)
It is almost like the auto generated gravatar icons.
Good luck with your iOS 8 bluetooth connectivity issues. (other than that, everything seems to work fine)
