Looking forward to reading some more answers on this since proud moments seems to vary tremendously (social vs. monetary). Keep going. :)
I'm agreeing with "qq66". If you wanna make a real business out of this, you should follow qq66's advice and get yourself the producers on board. They however would wanna see prospected sales pipelines and some forecasts. In addition to that, you might need to agree on fixed sales per year in order to be recognized as a distributor. Alternatively, you could go with a luggage full of money to some small Asian trade fairs..

I refer to an Apple patent for kinetic charging:

Another possibility would be solar charging similar to: http://www.seiko-cleanenergy.com/watches/solar/

Thanks for your post. IMO every innovation should necessarily improve predecessor - products. Hence a "smartwatch" would need to be as available as my aviator chronograph is. This means, I wouldn't wear a smartwatch, that needs to be charged twice a week. Your comment on wasted life - time is indeed true. A watch, that'd show me the same notifications as my smartphone, is rather pointless. Build a valuable network around your product, focus on design and MEANINGFUL functionality. Happy to discuss this in detail.

Well done! :) Is it possible to embed this in my website?
Thx Colin. Sounds great for analytical purposes as well as concensus building research! Am dfntly looking forward to give it a try.
Thanks. I do actually have a couple of potential use cases. Got to have a look at the github folder later today. Would be dfntly great to stay in contact with you.
Is Loomio also embeddable and accessible through an API?
Really nice work. Well done! Is it possible to display user names via the API?
Re:Ask HN: Is it typical to have a coding project for interview? on Wednesday August 20, 2014 @01:50AM (#8201232)
Yes, it's fairly common. Some friends of mine at Amazon had to face this sort of projects as well.
Berlin has an amazing startup scene with fairly open people. I got easily in contact with CEOs of Soundcloud and Blinkist. Try also to connect with hub:raum , which is the Telekom incubator in Berlin. Great stuff.

Other than that, I would probably go for Paris or Zurich, dependent on your startup idea.

In general: Try to find a place, where like-minded startups are situated. This swarming of common interests is indeed very valuable for skill, experience, and knowledge transfer.
