ConEmu "is optimized" for Windows. The problem is that cygwin is not optimized for Windows.

bash and zsh are CLI. They are not terminals. Just run bash in ConEmu.

Absolutely wrong. ConEmu is a terminal where you may run any CLI, bash for example. http://conemu.github.io/en/TerminalVsShell.html

Try out ConEmu instead of Console2. It also has clink integration from the box.

Give a try to ConEmu? It is powerful, fast and flexible. And latest alpha can set up itself as default windows terminal ;)
