Not really OSS though
If you use *BSD, you have to use jails, it's just law

You should add a section to explain why OpenAPI isn't enough (narrator's voice: it is).

Otherwise, it just seems you vibecoded the wheel.

Seems fair.

It's bad faith, a normal stacking would have made them completely disappear, it's one of main reasons to do stacking, remove things which are not on all images, and it's works flawlessly.

You have to actively tweak your settings to create this kind of photo.

Re:Kickstarter’s staff is unionizing on Tuesday March 19, 2019 @03:54PM (#19435021)

That's the point, "us vs them" is pretty good upgrade from "me vs them"

That's the trick.
They thought it was free.

Don't worry, it's PHP.

Next step: Amazon guys have to wear a shock collar by contract, an IA oversees every drop and stun him if anything suspect happen.
Re:Nomad Task Versioning on Friday March 10, 2017 @07:03PM (#13843224)
The proper way isn't to specify artifact checksum?

When you rebuild your "main", you update the checksum and Nomad should see it as a change, no?

I can't test right now, I don't know if Nomad pick the job change and download the new artifact or just fail the check.

Re:GitHub's terms: A2 – You must be a human on Tuesday May 03, 2016 @08:13AM (#11619833)
On https://developer.github.com/guides/managing-deploy-keys/#ma...

Tip: Our terms of service state:

Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted.
This means that you cannot automate the creation of accounts. But if you want to create a single machine user for automating tasks such as deploy scripts in your project or organization, that is totally cool.

This is a text editor.
Re:Thousands play one game of Pokemon simutaneously on Saturday February 15, 2014 @03:29PM (#7245190)
It's streaming lag, the input lag should be far higher.

I suspect a very simple setup :

- An IRC bot listen for message including a key name and queue them somewhere (Redis maybe?).

- Another process just dequeue keys and apply them in emulator.

Re:Deploying full fledged flask app in production on Wednesday December 25, 2013 @02:27PM (#6963937)
It's actually a wrong way of doing things.

We are almost in 2014, you must use a configuration manager. It's better and simpler.

Re:Forge - Static hosting made simple on Thursday October 10, 2013 @12:42PM (#6528635)
Free plan without custom domain is useless, no point to test your service.

Re:Scale PHP on EC2 to 30k Concurrent Users on Sunday June 23, 2013 @02:42PM (#5928816)
Title is misleading, when only 3% of requests hits PHP, you don't "scale PHP".
Re:DNSimple Price Increase on Thursday June 20, 2013 @05:13AM (#5911016)
Ok, why it's more expensive?

Saying "raising our prices will help us to continue to improve across the board and bring you better, more solid DNS services" is the exact opposite of transparence.

It's not a gamble a sec.

You can flip them at least 10 times the price day one for sure. A lot more if you wait.

People love making collections of expensives things.

Re:Nginx Requests/Second – RaspberryPi vs Amazon EC2 on Saturday January 19, 2013 @11:54AM (#5083872)
A blog is nearly a read-only webapp, it's the easiest type of website to scale.

If you can't avoid 502s with trafic HN can make, you should'nt do benchmarks about hosting matter.

Re:New Freebox update censors ads by default for 5.5M users on Thursday January 03, 2013 @02:44PM (#5004190)
Free isn't modifying HTML, but filtering ads servers IPs.
Re:Internet arrived, and broke stuff. (Post HN/Reddit Traffic) on Wednesday December 26, 2012 @08:18PM (#4971836)
If you have cpu issues with a blog post you are doing it wrong.

If your CDN is useless because of cpu burning on your side, you are not using your CDN.
