With the amount of times ad networks like googles have spread malware etc it's a basic internet security practice these days.
I've just stopped visiting websites that make it impossible to read their articles. It has gotten completely ridiculous.
Renault with the revival of the V / 5 and now this, French car brands have been producing THE best designs of all electric cars, in my opinion
I agree, but for a long time it was the only way to discover new niche subs
I've been blocking subs in RES for years now, it's over 7000 last I checked and most I see on /r/all now is cat content. It's GLORIOUS
I find this a weird, kind of elitist, response to what George Hotz wrote from his own perspective. Since the response argues using a grand generalisation I'll use one too: no in fact we absolutely do _not_ call lobbying and lobbyists "corruption" in europe, making such a statement could not be further from the truth and borders on being delusional. If anything this says a lot about how much the post author knows about european politics.
Here is a web page from the European Parliament using the same terms; https://www.europarl.europa.eu/at-your-service/en/transparen... including a whole paragraph on why lobby groups are important for europe. "This is a legitimate and necessary part of the decision-making process to make sure that EU policies reflect people’s real needs."
But let's be real the blog post author only wrote this to dunk on americans. It's just embarrassing they did it from such a clearly ignorant perspective.
Nothing says “mature ecosystem” like migrating to a different runtime every few years.
Thanks for the extremely weird rabbit hole to go down during lunch. Lot's of weird stuff going on in that twitter thread, I chose to believe most of those replies are not from humans.
It is :) Mostly because it's easy to interface with!
Neat! I've been slopping together various games to have AI play them, balatro, poker, blackjack, it's just so fun. Was just thinking about chess, wondering if, if I gave them an unrestricted sandbox, they'd start using existing solvers or not. They're surprisingly good at doing cardcounting, by the way.
It's so sad that Meta of all companies is leading this space.
Is your llm force pushing to main? If so, why are you allowing that?
No LLM will destroy any code base in any time frame without permission from an human operator. That person is responsible for allowing the code base being destroyed.
Wow what an opener comment thread. One thing is for sure, this is a very contentious topic lol. I have had this opinion since way before this ai boom; someone who pushes code to prod is responsible for what happens in prod with that code. This blogpost is very relatable
If you only have ios and mac clients why not icloud?
Makes you wonder if it really was "noobs" and "slop kiddies" that found it.
> Mixed - 67% of the 355 user reviews for this game are positive.
And 10 euro, lol. I'll just go with the free one, thank you.
Out of all the ignorant comments in this thread that clearly do not know what is happening in the netherlands and are just assuming wild stuff, you made the most insane one. Congratulations.
Prinsjesdag is held on the third tuesday of september. You are trying to insinuate some weird stuff.
It should be noted that today is Prinsjesdag and the new yearly budget is being presented, or however that is properly translated in english. Especially now that farmers are also lighting hay bales on fire next to highways the most likely explanation is nationals doing this
Sounds like the same issue as with Mastodon. The vast majority of people are not interested in a 'protocol' (or even know what that is), they do not care what protocol powers their _app_, they just care about their app
Because it makes them money and for some reason people (and governments) have accepted their lie that they can't police this.
Comparison to the olden days; if a paper magazine knowingly allowed scammers to advertise they 110% would've been prosecuted. It is really weird that we let google (and others suchs as meta!) get away with this.
Some comments make it seem like this is a new thing, it's not, this has been going on for at least 10 years now.
Over the past 3 months we've been using it a LOT. I made one for our admins so they can work with the CMS and get statistics in their client, the statistics part has been a huge unlock. The big advantage here is that a normal API, direct tool integration or CLI are unpractical to set up for my less technical coworkers.
Other then that I've been building MCP's in pretty much all (personal) tools I'm making now, it's very useful to have a central way for an agent to look at production data without having to ssh into a server.
Ah yes, 33 feet, the suspiciously not round number which suspiciously translates to almost exactly 10 meters. Just use meters, lol.
This seems like a very sane take. At no point during my career up until now would submitting code to production that you didn't understand be acceptable. Over the past months/year, a lot of the discourse around AI-written code I've read comes down to responsibility, and IMO for that we've had a solution since way before this AI boom: as a developer, you are responsible for the code you put into production. This really isn't/shouldn't a wild concept.
Pro tip: you can ask claude this
These price drops are absolutely bonkers. Gotta love competition! Glad we didn't end up with a duopoly of openai and anthropic, we got a glimpse of what nightmare that would've been and it wasn't pretty
Admitted it was a mistake, fixed it. Meanwhile google is actively platforming and funding the far right, and has no issue with it. What is the issue with Proton here exactly? This is a complete nothing burger.
Thanks, didn't notice it before you pointed it out (and I already made my comment), actually turned into quite an interesting retrospective for me
Governments don't need flock or AMG, that's where the flaw in your argument begins.
Very flawed argument, anyone can go for a walk without their phone on them and have a conversation, nobody would ask them why they don't have their phone on them.
