Agreed. Also the address listed on the about page is looks to be to the Texas Sculpture Garden in Frisco Texas. Sounds like a park, not an office.

I have mixed feelings about this one. While I was never too excited about some of the unintended consequences of GDPR. That said, I do see benefit of the EU being the world's regulator on these types of things. I don't have confidence that anyone else would do it if the EU didn't. Even for those of us that don't live in the EU (I am in the US myself), I do feel like the EU plays the role of keeping things in check for the rest of us even if we are directly impacted by their regulations.

Re:Mozilla to shut down Pocket on July 8

I have been paying for readwise for about a year and a half now. I was a pocket subscriber for years before they got bought out by Firefox. All that said, I wouldn't call myself an advanced user of either (tag a lot less than I would like, want to revisit more than I do, etc.).
I am reasonably satisfied with read wise as a replacement/upgrade to pocket and will continue to pay for it for the time being. My least favorite part is it needs 2 apps/extensions for full functionality (readwise and reader). It works but feels clunkier to me than it needs to be.
Re:Kagi Search – Paywalled articles indicator and improved weather widget

I bought a year of kagi and overly very satisfied. 2 things that annoy me about it:
-I randomly get irrelevant international results as a US person (Amazon Canada and Amazon India for instance)
-There are inconsistently labeled timestamps on things. I use reddit a lot when reviewing search results. Sometimes the reddit links are timestamped and sometimes they aren't. Leads to end up clicking on a reddit link that is 6 or 8 years old and no longer revelant.
Other than that is works really well!

Gemstone (currently Gemstone IV) is an online MUD that has been around for 30+ years and has a pretty thriving community and very active development as well as strong gamemaster interaction. https://www.play.net/gs4/
There is a free subscription but it is quite limited compared to the paid membership. I used to play back in the mid 90s and resubscribed a few years ago because I have found nothing else nearly as complex or immersive. Steep learning curve to start but folks are often willing to help others learn. Check out the learning wiki at https://gswiki.play.net/Main_Page
