Not exactly the same but I’ve noticed I have less conflict over code at work too now that everyone’s using llms to generate and review it.
The difference here is that you have an individual with no profit motive being hounded by the government, vs a corporation with a profit motive and evidence of a continued pattern being let off with a slap on the wrist. To me that is not a just society.
Saw an xbox/ikea ad at ikea the other day and was just very confused. (master chief with a ikea wrench)
Opens trench-coat: so you want to buy some compute
I imagine uv will subsume both
It is, but as they say "what's good for the goose is good for the gander", if we have rules they should apply to everyone equally, or they should be changed.
Public transit works like this too
You might be conflating the west coast dams that are killing the orcas?
Also once it’s gone it can’t come back
You can even become your own tyrant
At least now it’s pretty straight forward for a hobbies group or individual to reverse the protocol and implement something that’s open source along with patches
> cops have been tracked down and killed by people using apps like Waze
They 100% have not actually been tracked down and killed by people using apps like Waze
I think it's fair, however I probably should've said something like "the vast majority of misuses are not being checked, and the vast majority of cops abusing the system havent and wont be disciplined accordingly"
> cops have been tracked down and killed by people using apps like Waze
Do you have a source for that? I can only find 2 examples vaguely similar but neither are really what that statement claims. Specifically one of them was just cops making stuff up about wayze which was factually incorrect.
> police have access but at least ostensibly have oversight from the legal system
We've already seen plenty of examples of cops tracking ex-wives and such similar abuses with no real accountability - nobody's lost their job over it
Cops know exactly what they do when they show up like this, it's meant to intimidate, there are also plenty of cases where cops have repeatedly crossed the line harassing citizens breaking no laws, it's disgusting
Not going to be evenly applied though, just another stick to hit with.
Any video or pictures of the motor itself?
Possibly you know this but there are pruning techniques to get a good yield of also good tasting apples
So the planner just forgets stuff eventually?
How do you manage context?
Not a gotcha, just trying to understand how your setup works
Plenty of precedent to regulate harmful technology and behavior:
Cars are defacto illegal to operate in public. You must have a license to drive one.
You can’t yell fire to scare people.
You can’t buy a gun without some kind of check, or at all depending on location.
Civilians can’t operate jet engines with a variable nozzle size.
Could see it happening in an engineering development situation. Especially if you have a model running the show
Yes, there was an OpenAI trial that was using that in combination with a forum to coordinate among agents
Also all of the mobile/embedded/resource constrained environments. Like sure my phone can run an LLM but it’s going to be bad and drain my battery.
I’m sure his dad had nothing to do with it and it’s just a coincidence.
Backups in a different region?
I find they generally do ok, but a few lines in an AGENTS.md or manual prompting to verify stuff against current docs/source, and check for current version of software helps a lot.
Gets me with AWS stuff on claude all the time, fortunately there's a official amazon MCP for their docs which helps a lot, but I still have to occasionally tell it to check the docs/mcp.
I think that it would be unwise to mute #engineering or whatever the main eng channel is
>I shared a trick on slack every day with the engineering team
