Myrth

so he will be responsible to maintain the domain name and server for perpetuity, just for short link
he already provides link to cdn. it seems that the parent didn't like that it was too long.
"bizzare" state lol

some day mainstream scientism will realize that it is impossible to extrapolate global reality from local perceptions...

you want him to be responsible for hosting parts of your site on his server?

how does it make any sense for him or for you?

what privacy is for, if not freedom
Or maybe Boeing reputation management op

No one ever checks those stories

At this point it's propped up by buybacks and central banks that can print as much as they want.

We'll see how it works out.

It's purely an opinion and interpretation.

The other interpretation is that the experiment shows that collapse of potential fields into manifest reality is individual for each observer.

Make it play a quiet calming music to the patients taste
My guess, it was a typo in client and they've registered misspelled domain as easiest fix for backwards compatibility with affected old releases.

Re:Intuitive Understanding of Euler’s Formula on Monday October 29, 2018 @11:45AM (#18328417)
It looks as a circle only from one direction.

I imagine it as a spiral.

Imaginary number adds 2nd dimension, and exponential growth adds 3rd dimension.

Amazing job, thank you for sharing!

Cue the relevant xkcd standards comic.
It is hilarious.

If it has session save/restore, it can compete in the same space as screen/termux/byobu.

Distrust between the public and authority is what they need to focus on.

Re:Bitcoin Energy Consumption Index on Saturday August 26, 2017 @07:17PM (#15108002)
The article says that Bitcoin could switch to proof-of-stake. Can it really do that and stay Bitcoin? I'm sure it would require at least blockchain split...
That's exactly why I built my own framework :)
The next step will be the realization that asymmetry of direction towards self organization on all levels, coded as energy consumption/dissipation efficiency, is a built in property of our reality, and life and counsciousness as we understand then are not random accidents.

Quarks -> protons/neutrons, nucleus+electrons -> atoms, atoms -> molecules, molecules -> proteins, proteins -> cells, cells -> organisms, organisms -> ecosystems, stars -> galaxies, galaxies -> clusters, etc.

Re:Swift is like Kotlin on Thursday May 18, 2017 @01:25AM (#14365000)
The last example made me wonder if it's possible to do something like this:

val oneInch = 2.54.mm println("One inch is $oneInch.cm() centimeters")
