Though and as of now your hard wired Internet provider makes it impossible to have just affordable Internet without having some type of TV package. Any streaming service who doesn't also provide Internet service is highly disadvantaged!
I been paying $55 for 12 months for Internet and a few local and cable channels. Now that's expiring it went up to $70 a month but Internet alone is either $50 for 6Mbps or $85 for 25Mbps. 6Mbps is junk and Comcast knows it and if I added YouTube my expenses would be $85, yet who knows if 6Mbps would support solid streaming?
I'm waiting for 5G fixed wireless from Verizon and Att for some competition to Comcast! I'm sure they too will make it equally unaffordable to just have Internet without their DirectTV Now and Fios. Erggh these OTT services have a tough road ahead of them.. they will probably all end up merging with internet providers.

My uber got hacked and some jerk took a supposed $1k ride in London on my dime. As soon as I found out I wanted to cancel my account but uber didn't allow users to cancel their accounts. I had to send an email and wait. Also they know about the hack and blamed the users for letting their accounts being hacked via not having a crazy strong password.
They need to burn to the ground .... run by total greedy douchebag pigs!
Apple hasn't offered the same, but all these other services do. Overall none of exciting to me, as I just want and need Internet and watch things thru my TV connected to my Mac Mini (free & oodles of stuff to watch).
That means you will then have st least four to five (att, Verizon, Comcast, sprint and T mobile) broadband providers to choose from.
Sounds solid to me... one bill for my Internet on all my devices and lots of choice!
Also before you downvote I'd love to hear your thoughts as to why Mexicans come here illegally and in large quantities... why are they not staying in Mexico? Why is it not a country of wealth, opportunity and prosperity for its people like the US and Canada? Do you not think that's something worth questioning and trying to address/fix for all Mexicans?
I don't understand why as growing up I dont recall such an epidemic, yet I do recall a ton of don't do drugs type of education. Has all those type PSAs & education in schools cease to exist and or not as well funded as back in the 80s and 90s?
On a different note I never bought he wants to be a woman just a PR thing to keep his name, plight and fight in the public eye. Maybe in five years or so his story will be told and we will see him as a him not a woman.

Thus, I don't believe much of what I see and read and this always seemed far-fetch to me and that it was so out there at the time that it was made up by those helping him. It allowed him to fight for transgender rights and remain in the public eye ... what other way could Manning in solitary confinement have maintained his visibility in the public and coral as much help to free him? This was great PR ... from someone who has created fake news and such to benefit their start up!
I think the answer is an easy one and thus fleeing was a cowards move compared to the life Manning has led.
That's my path... got a degree in the recording industry: Music Business from a TN state school and worked at labels for a bit before leaving. A few years later I taught myself how to code for one of my startup ideas. Fun startup journeys none monetaryily successful but had a great time riding that rollercoaster and learned an in demand skill.
Now in govt. IT and contracting which is the best place to be professionally/financially on the east coast.
Well I agree… I don't like having to say OK Google turn the light on… Or OK Google… Or everything… It does not feel conversational. But there needs to be a command otherwise the AI speaker will be doing thing every time I hear something… Maybe we can change the name that would be good
For me Google Now and Alexa are the next huge leaps in computing ... like the iPhone was. I wish Google would create an app store much like Apple's where users try an app out and buy it for a buck if they like it.
I have my google now hooked up to turn my TV, lights and thermostat on. It understands my commands 97% of the time vs. Siri's 85%.
But Apple is so far behind with the horrid Siri it's laughable. I've used Siri almost daily since 2011 and after using Google Now I cant stand to use Siri as her accuracy is 90 percent if lucky vs. her competitors 100 percent.
Switzerland sounds awesome; make tons more money there and work fewer hours...why isn't that the norm everywhere if it's so great and works out so well?
Their population is 8 million vs 318 million here in the U.S......
Also, I'm sorta partially to Google Home as I think it's AI is superior... though i could be mistaken.
I just got a google home and I want to program/add apps(games) or actions(movie times, order a pizza, call x friend on skype, call 911, record & playback my sleep talking recordings and many other ideas thought of).
I can't see why such an App Store isn't available yet for programmers and either Google or Amazon to profit from!!! One that is run like Apple's App Store where things are reviewed and approved, as for me I think these AI speakers are the next big thing like the iPhone.
Siri which i have used since 2011 is junk comparably. For me having the best AI assistant on my phone is as important having the best camera. Such makes life a lot easier!
Also I've been on statins since 37 after feeling my heart race and not being able to catch my breathe after being with girlfriend at the time. That was some scary stuff and after the statin and change of diet I no longer have those type of bouts anymore. So maybe it's my change in diet (cut out 75% fried food and sugar intake is 50% less) and the statin combined and or maybe the statin is just a placebo and my change is diet helped eliminate those heart racing attacks?
I had a lot of those attacks from 37 to about 39...im now 41 and haven't dealt with any such attacks unless I eat a say Five Guys or In and Out.
Trump's tape on the bus was more of a bombshell yet she couldn't even beat him nationally. The DNC chose and did everything in their power to back a dog as a candidate vs. begging someone classy and likeable such as Biden to run. Obama if he could have ran a third term would have won and we wouldnt have this embarrassing ego maniac for our next president.
Reality check nothing because there were no bombshells found like James Coomey re-opening the FBI's investigation against that woman. A woman who nationally especially compared to Obama is highly unlikeable with a horrible public image. Though we're stuck with that crazy man... losing game either way!

Otherwise here in the east coast there are many of jobs in insurance and government, so much so more then of half the workforce is from India because they have the skills needed.
For those not able to find work where are you located and what are you skilled in/how many years of experience?
