I've missed you, gradient navigation bar with a dropshadow
> using them is quite cheap.
until the other guys comes out with a slightly better model, then using yours wont be cheap enough.
Because they have a good sense of how things can go horribly wrong.
The third AI winter is coming. This is the one where it works for some cases but is too expensive.
Please please regulate us, and don't forget all our competitors too, who cant afford to deal with it.
If you use the "for you" tab you have no right to complain, you did it to yourself. If you use the "following" tab, X is a very useful app.
The comments are talking about two different things. There's traditional tipping, like at restaurants, barber, etc, where you supposedly tip for good service, and there's the newish POS (point of sale) tipping screens that are showing up everywhere and are a dark pattern for extracting extra money for doing nothing.
We're coming up on another AI winter. This is the one where AI is useful, but too expensive.
> LLMs are not about code generation.
yet that is what most people are using it for
Building a gaming PC in the spring of 2025 was probably one of the luckiest things I've ever had happen. 32G DDR5 for 90 bucks, 4TB drive for about 200 bucks. Funny thing is I held off upgrading my GPU to wait for the price to come down from the crypto rush :)
Not that long ago to find both sides of an argument in the comments you could search by "controversial" and the negative comments would be at the top and often you'd agree with them, or at least appreciate the debate. Now they are mostly gone. It was probably a combination of banning wrong-think and dissidents learning to not waste their time.
The worst thing for a forum is to let users punish comments they disagree with, you know, one way by fading out their comments until you cant read them.
well, why is there a women's category for this? How do we know there isn't a open category where the real competition happens?
there are probably countless dev jobs that aren't in code factories and don't bottleneck on coding. I know, I'm doing one now.
This is coming out end of year in the U.S. in the 2027 Rogue. There will also be a gas powered 2027 with a CVT. It will be interesting how they compare, and also how the series hybrid compares to Rav4 or Corolla Cross with a parallel hybrid.
But I also see ones asking to select motorcycles, and then they show lots of photos, obviously somewhere in SE asia, all of scooters.
not really the same thing as breaking a world record.
You could just not use LLMs?
something is wrong with that category when a six year old wins
somebody wants some extra funding
They are just feeling around in the dark looking for the killer app to save their business.
Blockbuster was profitable if you only considered its Milk Duds sales.
Let me make a guess, OP's job is internal dashboards
there's a 30 second skip button, and also the fast forward button is really well tuned so you watch for the end of the commercial break, hit play, it jumps back a few seconds to where you couldn't react fact enough. It all worked very well somehow.
I've been a heavy user of Tivo from 1999 to a couple years ago when I dropped cable TV. I have never heard of SkipMode. Is it something they just added? because "longest-standing and most popular DVR features" doesn't sound like it was just added.
> I have a hard time believing you've genuinely never had a lecturer take questions.
It was very very rare in my experience, from grade school all the way to harvard, and unless you went to some crazy exclusive school with something like a 10:1 teacher student ratio it was pretty normal. It was also very rare for just practical reasons, like the lecturer needed the full time without interruptions because of class schedules.
"funnelled to people" is a weird way to describe funding a free open source project.
Make sure you look closely into politics of anybody connected to the password manager you are switching too, it could be even worse!
> To me, the main advantage of the lecture format is the possibility to have me or others grill the lecturer for questions, benefiting the whole group.
I've rarely, if ever, seen this. And if I had, I think most of the class would have just been annoyed, which you probably didn't notice.
Your point makes no sense. Are you denying there are tens of thousands of illegal aliens in U.S. prisons for crimes?
