for youI personally would love to run Omarchy on my TV and all the customization that provides.
The actual problem to admit is that the crony capitalist state that's regulated out the nose always leads to failure when you keep trying to control markets through a government force. The only rational thing to do is admit that the government is doing more harm than good and deregulate to the bare minimum if at all and have a 5 year plan to fire every single government employee and let the population actually decide how their country is run.
They won't do that because all the government employees love their government jobs and they also can't admit that importing millions of foreigners that hate French culture isn't working.
> Claude clone the source code of this open source project and then lets compile it with debug mode and then install it on my device and log everything that it connects to and every message that it sends.
We live in 2026 where every open source project is being scrutinized endlessly by thousands of agents to try to find vulnerabilities anywhere and everywhere, and you can do it yourself with just a prompt and a spare laptop and phone.
I just built my own tools and then just drive claude with 'claude -p' through them. Works great for controlling claude from my own android app.
> You will play In the sandbox that we give you and you will like it and we will make it painful for you to go outside of that
Starred and and cloned to my own zellij config, thank you!
Did not know about this either. Thank you very much stranger for making me one of the daily 10,000!
Plus one on this one.
I have chezmoi apply my konsole settings onto every new machine and sync the settings between machines as I modify them over time.
It'll be decompiled and released on PC by modders within a week of it being officially released, AI tools have gotten too good for things like that to be controlled by Sony/Rockstar.
This is spot on to what I have noticed as well.
The slackers are still the slackers with no real self drive or enthusiasm for the tech and just keep doing the same thing, but instead of using Google/stackoverflow to copy and paste from they use Claude/Gemini to do the same thing.
It doesn't, capitalism is the free association without coercsion. When the government can mandate that you cannot sell certain GPUs to customers in specific areas or that your model is too scary and you must shut it down and can give or take government contracts that are work hundreds of millions or billions of dollars, and the federal reserve will bail out the banks If they make mistakes, you have a crony capitalist environment that has very little to do with the free market.
I actually did something similar with my team a few months ago. We exported all our confluence articles and all our Jira tasks into Obsidian and then made a few simple extensions to replace the functionality we needed from them (sharing links to pages, ability to make comments on pages, creating new tasks, using bases as a way to organize our todo tasks, use git for file history), for a DevOps team of 4 it has gone very well and it has made an massive improvement for giving our AI agents up to date docs on whatever we're working on.
That is correct. Samsung OneUI 8 removed the ability to unlock the bootloader to any device that installed it. It removed the toggle and also removed the functionality from the codebase as well.
I got screwed by this by buying a used Samsung Tablet for the purpose of rooting it and made the mistake of letting it update after I factory reset it. Never buying a Samsung product again.
The US is the one that makes it into the news the most often, but I bet if you search just about any country's name and the same subject you will get the same stories. The UK for example has plenty of stories of cop visits/arrests for just making Facebook posts that the government finds distasteful.
Time to hit the gym and get the testosterone up
I'm glad for that. The harder OpenAI squeezes the more people leave for open source models.
Do a search on X on the topic, the news about Samsung was broken on there by a guy who had rooted his Samsung TV using AI tools and he and others created guides for neutering the stuff out of it
Does it fix the input lag?
If we go with your argument then nobody has had any freedoms or agency at all.
You need a library and other people to tech you useful skills, you need a car to get to a job, you need a farmer to farm the food that you eat, you need an engineer to create the device you're using the internet through. Etc. Etc. Etc.
I'll take a far right supporter over a communist supporter.
> Am I really going to create an iTerm2 alternative
Well, If you're an iTerm2 user still after about the 1st hour of setting up a new macbook then you probably don't have need for the features that customizing a terminal to your own needs brings.
Claude will totally be used to build a tool to replace git for specific groups of users. There are alternatives popping up left and right, there was one that was announced by Anthropic itself last week.
Clause doesn't need to be deterministic when you can use it to generate software that is deterministic in its output.
I've been using Aurora for almost 6 years with no issues
Well, it's not just the AI race, it's just about everything. Who the hell would want to be an entrepreneur and start a small tech business of any sort in the EU when you are going to be taxed and regulated down the throat from every direction. It's great that you're able to obtain a zip file of what information a company has about the things you've searched for on Amazon, all it costs you is all the hundreds of thousands of individuals who never start a business because they don't want to deal with the headache of touching PII with a thousand foot pole and risk getting sued into Oblivion, so in exchange you just get the large soulless corpos that are the only that can afford to hire people to deal with PII and the enthrenchment of Google/Microsoft and Facebook is entrenched even further.
Those millions of people bought the iPhone Duo devices with their own money that they worked a corporate job for weeks or months for in order to afford and have the right to spend that money however they want.
The real question is was this endeavour funded by public or private money. If it's private money that's great, if it was in any way funded by my tax dollars which I am forced at gun point to pay, that is not okay.
It's incredible how much regulations the EU has to stifle the smallest of projects. No wonder they're so behind in the AI race
Thank god I'm not in the EU where regulation is shoved down my throat by the government in order to make me feel like they're protecting me.

Odd, I couldn't seem to buy $10 worth of pieces of that dollar bill, it seems like it's non-divisible. I'll have to just keep buying $10 worth of bitcoin on a daily basis instead.
Bitcoin has gained 10,000% since its invention... The US dollar is worth 3% of what it was 100 years ago, I'm sure you're smart enough to do the math.
