I'm not an expert but maybe they just believed in the books. Or maybe they checked the documents, but the documents were forged, so checking the documents would have been useless.
I hope I understand it correctly how germs spread. Is it like this?
Imagine an infected person infects 4 other persons, and the incubation period was 1 year. Probably everyone would get the germ.
But if the incubation period was 1 second, at a certain point 1 infected person would find less than 1 person who is infectable (not already infected / had an infection that is gone now / has had an immunity? / etc.).

It's available on Ubuntu 20.04.
Once the regular Chromium had a higher version number than the Chromium in the PPA. aptitude updated to the regular Chromium. I then gave the PPA Chromium a priority of 1000 by creating a file called /etc/apt/preferences.d/saiarcot895-chromium-beta with the following content:
Package: *chromium*
Pin: release o=LP-PPA-saiarcot895-chromium-beta
Pin-Priority: 1000Not as much as Ebola suits: https://www.welt.de/img/gesundheit/mobile130688133/039162761...
1 Ebola suit for everyone, with an air supply rucksack.
A replacement CPU would make more sense. It should support the same operating systems and motherboards. I wonder if Intel would be asked by a lot of people to replace their CPUs.
Mark Liu, T.S.M.C.’s chairman, told The New York Times in October that T.S.M.C. had been negotiating with the Commerce Department about a possible U.S. plant, but said it would require substantial government subsidies. How much, if any, public money might be associated with the company’s decision was unclear.
And from https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-48917705
The US State Department has approved a potential arms sale to Taiwan, estimated to be worth $2.2bn (£1.76bn), the Pentagon said.
Maybe TSMC thought it would be really good if Tawain were protected better thanks to these weapons, and TSMC would also like these subsidies.
Is this actually true? From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Paterson
When a book appeared in 2004 claiming that 86-DOS was an unoriginal "rip-off" of CP/M,[6] Paterson sued the authors and publishers for defamation.[7][8] The judge found that Paterson failed to provide any evidence regarding "serious doubts" about the accuracy of the Gary Kildall chapter.
Also, the videos that should be deleted before any others are the videos about the claim that it's better to be too afraid than too little, for instance. If people deliberately increase their fear, they become irrational like Francis E. Dec, who believed in the "Mad Deadly Worldwide Communist Gangster Computer God". The difference is that Dec had no doubts, and didn't choose to ignore doubts and to deliberately be afraid the most.
"a. Can I turn it off?
Yes. The choice to use this technology rests with the user, and he or she can turn it off at any time by uninstalling the contact tracing application or turning off exposure notification in Settings."
Does this mean the device owner has to turn it off? Or is it opt-in? Also, can random apps turn this on again after it has been turned off? And how can the user not get this update at all?
Edit: Now I see. Signal wants to save data in the cloud. My Threema PIN is just for my device.
>This was even the main takeaway for some people. [...] SimCity 2000 [...]
Nooo! I didn't like the disasters in SC2000. If your city becomes too bad a delegation of citizens gently escorts you from your mayor's office[1] (game over). Also, getting disasters under control takes work and there is no progress in the city during disasters.
If there is a fire, I had to place firefighters around the fire. Sometimes it made sense to take the bulldozer and remove structures, which would have been fuel for the fire. I hope people didn't miss their houses :^). After I had successfully learned how to always get the different disasters under control, I disabled them in a menu.
BTW I wish a Windows emulator with SimCity2000 for Windows would be sold. Right now only the DOS version is sold.

Maybe this depends on the laws of a country. Also, IMHO either a company offers their services to everyone or to no one. There are, of course, exceptions that aren't really exceptions. Creative work in an "exception". For instance, French painter Monet was so popular that he could choose his customers.

Is it possible that some people are afraid of being charged with "Conspiracy against the United States" [1] and that they have to wait a long time in the USA until a jury decides that they are innocent?
