I really hope so. We need less tourists here!
Not true, I took an Aeropress on an international flight and made fresh coffee throughout the flight. It tasted great. The hot stewardesses had no problem letting me use their hot water which was nice.
I'm also in this segment of the market. However, only when pressed for time, which is during the week. On the weekends I take my time and brew pour overs.

"In biotech, we desperately need better software engineers." - Yes, but unfortunately the funding isn't there (salaries are too low).

There's actually a lot of new housing developments going on right now. Especially in uptown and downtown. I think there are 5 or more cranes in downtown right now. How many cranes are in SF right now? Probably zero. Unfortunately, in San Diego, you really need a car to get around.

Todd Gloria is a little bitch and always caves to businesses and developers. Case in point: Jack in the Box debacle in North Park.

I guess it's good if you have a family and don't go out. Other than that, it's BORING!

This is what I came to say. My children love playing on our large lawn. I consider them lucky given the number of dirt (drought resistant) parks these days.
I have had a company request a previous paystub. I guess you could Photoshop that.
Re:Jobs Involving Routine Tasks Aren't Growing on Thursday March 17, 2016 @09:52AM (#11304308)
It's disconnected alright. There's only 3 companies advertising for jobs on his careers page. And one of them is a franchising company (Mr. Sparky). Trades are very competitive. Just look up the number of electricians in your area. It's a race to the bottom in the trades.
Google already has offices all around the world. They are already doing this.
Piece of shit paywall. Please cut and paste text here.

Re:Why I think Tesla is building throwaway cars on Sunday March 06, 2016 @07:41PM (#11236393)
And now I know for certain I will never purchase a Tesla. What a shame.
Same here.
Well stated.
Do you get paid overtime? If not, why are you working 10 "free" hours a week? It's people like you that are ruining it for the rest of us.
Re:Study Finds No Gender Gap in Tech Salaries on Thursday March 03, 2016 @11:24PM (#11222038)
You are correct! People are so stupid when it comes to these gender discussions. I'm glad my wife and I have a traditional household. It works great and both of us are happy. Good luck to those with the "eye for an eye" mentality. You will never be happy.
Re:Study Finds No Gender Gap in Tech Salaries on Thursday March 03, 2016 @03:56PM (#11219973)
It isn't a problem. Women generally should prioritize family. Women are generally more nurturing than men. Why are you making this out to be a problem?

Definitely illegal.

Yes.
Are people talking to strangers more in coffee shops now too?
