Hey! I'm Jeff. I'm in the final year of a Math + CS degree and I'm looking for remote work in math research, data science, ML ops, or Lean formalization. Full-time or contract. I consult for Lending Labs/Kuliza as a formal verification expert. I model their loan-origination workflows in Lean and prove invariants, which cuts the number of test cases that new business rules need. I spent 18 months at VDesign Technologies working on signal processing. I implemented Viterbi decoding, which cut signal noise by 40%, and worked on a beam-steering Ku-band patch antenna for UAVs. In my free time, I use SAT solvers on combinatorics problems. Most recently I extended two OEIS sequences (partitions of Z/nZ into sum-free sets) from about n=40 to n=100, with DRAT-checked optimality proofs. I also built ValScout, a YOLO + CNN pipeline that reads Valorant broadcast VODs. I ran it over every map of Champions 2026 on rented GPU machines. I'm also on the faculty at Math Circle Chennai and I coach olympiad students. Students I've coached have qualified for IMO, INMO and EGMO. My friends complain that I think "let ε > 0" is a perfectly reasonable way to start a conversation.

Hey! I'm Jeff and I have designed antennas, worked with formal verification tools (Lean, Isabelle), and consulted as an algorithms and data consulting engineer (for antenna verification) since my teens. My friends often complain that I'm the kind of person who considers "let ε > 0" a perfectly reasonable way to start a conversation. I'm currently seeking remote math research, data science or ML ops opportunities. You can check out my website and the work I have done at jeffdoesmath.com!
