Such a cool idea. I got a deep dive Postgres training from one of the their founders at my company and he was insanely knowledgeable. We currently are having these problems with Segment as well. I'm going to try and push to see if we can switch off of this from Segment. Congrats on starting a company that is solving a crazy pain point. I saw something saying that you need a minimal-loveable product nowadays and this is it!

This is some of the best advice I've ever read on HN. I started doing this about 6 months ago. I also want to warn that you can focus too much on that and it can burn you out. Moderation is key in any decision/lifestyle. Also can say self love and compassion is key as well and can take a long time to develop depending on the parenting you received.

Obviously a basic example with one type of entity(user) makes it look the same but GraphQL's power is in being able to create whatever view of the data you want from the client and also being able to traverse the data's relationships IE User to Posts explicitly at the API consumption layer.
