Meanwhile the major Democrat leaning/voting news outlets peddled russian collusion conspiracy nonsense for years and then stoked the flames of racial and anti-police violence last year. And I see we have people here clinging to misinformation and melodramatic interpretations by the major liberal news outlets on events of january 6th, and these people don't know that they are living in unreality themselves and yet want to censor their political opponents under the guises of "misinformation" and "inciting."
Meanwhile the left dominated media was a major enflamer of the violence of BLM and Antifa.
Last year I was going through this book because I always wanted to know how computers were made from the ground up.
I got to the assmebler exercise and really wanted to figure out how to implement it in the assembly language itself to see how that step was once taken. After that I was going to do the exercise in python.
I really should pick up that book again and just implement the assembler in python, so that I can move forward.
I love the book.
There are numerous examples of people on both sides of the political spectrum comparing this virus to the flu and downplaying the severity, but then the switch was flipped.
At times I've believed that this virus was an absolutely terrible virus, and at other times I've believed that things were overblown.
I've read and seen interviews of more calm and rational experts and think that perhaps the original claims were more correct, or at least the response by governments are more damaging than the virus itself.
In the end this virus' run may end up not being worse or not much worse than a flu season of a certain level of severity as initially thought, but the future consequences on our rights and liberties by media induced panic and state authoritarian measures might be long lasting.
I really don't want to see certain people calling others fascists, nazis and communists in the future after seeing what they've supported during our current times.

No replies, just negs. I assume at the moment that you have a wrong conception of MRAs and are attributing the MRA label to certain other types of groups.
Do you have a clue what MRA's truly are?
I like this. I think I am going to try to keep a list next year, and maybe it might somehow even help keep me on the path of learning.
yeah, it's called actually taking science seriously, but not being stuck in a false paradigm
I got as far as reading gerda malaperis in esperanto, but then I was done with the language. I didn't want to dedicate anymore time to it.
It's very troubling. In certain respects it's more troubling than speech censorship.
Groups of people tend to label the speech of their opponents as "hate speech." It seems like more and more speech today is being labeled as "violent" speech.
For any mass murder you can find people blaming some ideology or another as being the root cause.
It's a dangerous path to follow when a party in power wholly believes in jailing people for "hate speech" as they will be silencing and jailing their ideological opponents.
I never claimed it was your idea. It's just people who think like this want to claim that every successful non-white group of people are white to continue viewing reality through a faulty prism.
White is still very synthesized as European Americans generally have mixed ancestral origins.
I don't foresee Asians being seen as white people. Their origins are much different than the Irish, Italian and even Jewish cases.
Perhaps certain people such as yourself would do so as an adjustment to allow you to continue viewing through your same prism rather than getting a new prism.
The biggest manipulation scheme is what's going on with the establishment and their media getting 50% of the American populace, which typically believes that it is enlightened and beyond conspiracy, to believe in some some massive Russian influence and collusion conspiracy.
Failure only because you disagree with the outcomes. Many of us supported Brexit and Trump. Democracy does not guarantee the outcome you want, and to believe that democracy has failed when it does not go your way means that you have a wrong idea of what democracy is and perhaps are anti-democratic.
I'm going to guess that a lot of truly trustworthy right leaning people are going to get worse scores than they should because they don't believe in the left wing dominate media's narratives.
They don't protest Google's manipulation and censoring of certain Americans though...
In what way? Nationalism leads to immigration restrictions and protectionism.
It's frightening to think of a world controlled by China although Western societies are heading in China's direction and left wingers have no problem eroding free speech rights...
What would these people that you are arguing against predict?
Fewer regulations leads to lower unemployment.
Lower taxes leads to lower unemployment.
Lower real wages leads to lower unemployment.
Well, a lot of the problems people in the USA have with certain groups has to do with those same cultural reasons.
There's a human tendency to want to blame other humans for everything that happens including weather events.
I initially heard yanny a couple of times and then laurel. Then I was able to switch a few times before laurel won out ever after with a yanny whisper.
With the NYT slider I was able to adjust my yanny boundary leftward through some training.
Yeah, it probably has been counter productive for me.
It seems like your head is filled with narratives of reality denial just because some groups of people who you dislike for whatever reasons have beliefs supported by this study.
You can get that with some packing jobs in some places. You might have to start off as a temp.
Is this really unique to capitalism?
No it's not fine or fair. It is inhumane.
