It is same, just even more overpowered. AlphaZero can also do same amount of analyze but before even need to, Stockfish already destroyed. Is like 100m race run between you and Usain Bolt. Because Bolt is so overpowering, You can just shorten it to 30m and he still beats everytime.

Meaning, you analyse 100 moves will not be the same set of GM 100 moves. And GM work on better 100 moves than yours. If you pick the moves that GM not thinking of, you likely get crushed because those moves are very inferior moves that GM already can see the outcome without the need to consider. Meanwhile if GM takes on moves you dont consider, you get crushed too. The likely silver lining will be you picking the same moves as GM. But up to a point, his depths will crushed you either you pick a wrong moves by mistake, or he out think you a few step more. Is like a math student who do same amount of steps as yours, but you look at his answer in awe because better and succint...and even confused as how it reach that. TBF, today AlphaGo engine will crush Stockfish and any GM too.

China already outsold ICE cars than USA by volume. If you factor in ppp, China car market value crush USA. And now they are selling EVs, hybrids, and even farm-relatedachinery and vehicles crushing Deere. If you visit ASEAN, Africa, South America, and even Australia, Chinese cars everywhere. I grew up during Japanese dominant era, and then SKorea. Today Chinese cars everywhere even more dominant than back then. USA is fast on track Great Britain track.

USA models proven to use copyrighted materials illegally. Meta also proven to ignore privacy. USA tech companies routinely give your date to military and law enforcers without even legally allowed to tell you. Unless you meant not trusting anyone, specifically saying not China is odd. You are almost likely to get Uncle Sam notice and legal enforcement while zero from China, you dropby their police station. In fact most EU countries will also extradite you to USA without your legal protection.

This put a cap on the upper price. Basically it forced the SAAS pricing to dive similar to what Deepseek is doing to OpenAI and Anthropic. Easily 30% of any SAAS are not companies. So over time that portion will not grow and chip away. And further more this encourage other smaller companies to vye for the same enteprise customers forcing the price to dive further. I dont expect the current SAAS to continue much. It willturn more of personalization service in coming decade.

Their Carbon supposely very good. But using Argon for past couple of days, Opus 5.5 and Chatgpt 5.6 Terra noticeably better. Anyway, too verbose and rate limited fast, so ended still using usual 3.8 Flash and revert back to Deepseek V2 1017 - dirt cheap and way better than Argon though maybe just tad lower than Opus 5.5.

Unlikely Anthropic able to repay. Take a look at their cost of production. GPU data centers which need huge capex and depreciate to near zero roughly every 3 years (though they try to trust-me-bro to 6). Even if you ignore the cost as gifted by Uncle Sam, they still runs into huge electrical consumption. You can't code away electricity. You can force buy or raid oil, but that wouldn't convert to electricity when reaching American shore. Then you look over at China given out free frontier models and dirt cheap electricity about 1/4 of Americna lowest rate. And China plans to half that rate in coming 5 years. And as chip advanced with more RAM, it is just a matter of time majority of AI compute happened in mobile devices. At that rate, Anthropic purely based in USA or EU or even regional countries simply can't compete for exclusive 30T market. The only way Anthropic can compete is raid a small country with arms like VOC and build their nuke plants, (maybe with Bill Thorium plant) to produce AI. And let's not forget that is American company. 2026 exposed to terrorists a very high impact and easy target. Good luck.

Overhype, believing Intel is like the 486/Pentium Intel era with new AI boom. Think of it like dutch tulip mania, Netscape-Internet-Petdotcom mania or the recent 2008 CDO housing mania ... but chip mania that do AI. People realized that maybe AI is overglorified for now and any money they can make will still be decades away.

If you believe those investor, I assume you mortgage and bet all your wealth on it. SpaceX? Anthropic? Chinese has talents, electricity and Huawei. I really believe those investors are tulip blind to pile money into those western AI. China even now world number 3 ssd+ram ahead of SK Hynix. So armageddon of RAM SSD LLM model at dirt cheap price. And as time progress, large ram and small gpu will be built into handphone (which again dominate by Chinese).

We can leave at any time. The reason we can't at this point is more like what the Chinese concept, "we lose face". So we will drag this another 20 years into future, another 10T gone and China colonized Mars with Asimov-like robots near AGI and we have failing bridges and the bragging rights that our B21/B22/B3000XT devastating those Iranians 2,967 times! It is more of ego thing now. So "just leaving" isn't an option when ego priotised way higher than people needs. "government of the people, by the people, for the people", we never ask which "people"? They may have the same spelling, but I'm sure absolutely not the same group of people in that sentence.

Photocraft is near parity for day to day use. I stopped using gimp and photopea and completely migrate to photocraft. Granted I am not poweruser with tons of plugins. Simple editing and layering, masks, transparency, gif-jpg-png concersions are very doable with this. So yes, it is good enough for production use for majority of not-so-poweruser.

If it is legit English and succint to the point, I dont mind AI or not. The moment you start labelling good and bad info as Claude or not (even if could be Deepseek or OpenAI or human that adopted AI way of writing) you ended up stopping yourself growth on genuine good info. You feel that way is because unhappy that AI able to do something very similar to what you can do at a fraction of effort. I have read many text by human and AI, and many time AI is superior in description though more verbose. Human writing are very creative and terse if well written. But for huge outputs of comparisons, human writing is overrated. Majority quality is nowhere near a sloppy AI level. Judge it objectively not a pre-built bias saying every AI output is bad

It was red herring. None of the villains on those planes are Afghanis or even Taleban. And the entire 20 years saga fighting there not even against the OBL but more of Taleban and bringing freedom that supposely Brits and Soviet cant. OBL troops morphed into Syria where infamously Obama crossed it with his "red lines" without boots on the ground but tons of CIAs operatives running around. We now know it has nothing to do with 911 but more of diverting the "real villains" attention far away in neighboring countries. But at least we bring freedom right? Unfortunately the Kabul government didnt even last 24 hours after we left in the most humiliating way possible. We surely made Soviet look incredibly powerful and foresighted. Their version of Afghan government lasted AFTER Soviet collapsed on budget while we burnt 10T. And then just like Pikachu surprised, China overtook USA as world most powerful country with weapon that we failed (railgun), own space station, robots, drones, rare earth, and even mbridge currency. Meanwhile we got the stable genius with flappy bird planes. And if you do OSINT way way more than 4.5K American KIA there. Way more. But hey, we cant even audit our Pentagon but we can trust-me-bro those number right?

Well Russia still quite impressive holding entire NATO wiping so many French and Brits commandos in the last 4 years. As for Americans, we know for deacdes already for defeat at Afghanistan, Yalu River, Vietnam where the opponents nowhere near Ukrainian forces. The most impressive is their system of defence. The Afghan government they protected and left survived longer than USSR. American Kabul? Not even 24 hrs. So many American boys wasted for nothing.

China hasnt even flex their wartime muscle and already millions of drones a year production which each can be more effective and cheaper than the one used by Iranian.
