Noah is a genocide apologist and kinda gross. The big take away is Israel needs help to defend itself and should be taking orders from the US, not the other way around.

You are talking about tipping points and those are most certainly covered and inserted into IPCC models. AMOC and permafrost has been covered in the most recent report.
You either are getting your shit from Reddit or worse.
I highly question the veracity of your comment. It looks like copy pasta from one of climate subreddits.

You are not describing homelessness. Andre has a home. You are describing a class that has resorted to this type of activity due to inequities in society.

Putin has been saying for the past decade that he would not tolerate further eastward expansion of NATO, a thoroughly anti-russian alliance. It is a reasonable position. No, invading independent countries is not reasonable. One can hold both these thoughts in their head.

Failure of imagination of the bad things Amazon would go on to do seems like the hallmark of the early days. Great job. Did you also game out the exploitation of warehouse workers?
Re:Amazon Is Creating Company Towns Across the United States

Companies don’t provide jobs. People provide labor and companies exploit said labor for profit.

“Most others” Jesus, imagine thinking that most people have kids. If you want what you say you want for your kids I would probably get of the capitalism merry-go-round if you have that privilege. Otherwise good luck with that thinking you can work at Apple AND be the type of parent you want to be.

Re:Job board to work on problems like climate change and food insecurity
on Monday April 19, 2021 @12:12PM (#26864399)
Problems like climate change and food insecurity are not technological problems at this point. They are political problems. The job board you want is the board that organizes people to demand political change.

Re:Amazon is about to host a homeless shelter in its Seattle headquarters
on Tuesday December 31, 2019 @01:01AM (#21919262)
Or they could you know not blackmail the city into not raising its taxes. This is hugely cynical PR move on its part. Everyone know any one of the top 5 could solve homelessness in their cities if they actually cared about it. Arguing differently is just being needlessly Naive. Yes, we are all literally working nihilistic inhumane entities.

Google doesn’t want its employees organizing. Why? One of the most crucial things about organizing is being able to contact your fellow employees. Yes the equipment is Google’s, but also I would contend that conversing with your fellow employees is in service to the company, in service of making the company better.
If I am trying to organize I would just send a blast asking everyone to add their personal emails to list. Could google call that organizing and penalize? What if I just wanted a personal email so I could schedule getting a beer.

Honestly, workplace democratization. Management consulting depends on illegitimate hierarchies and elitism that discounts regular worker opinions and elevated opinions of “experts.” Consultants tell you how to read your watch. They are by and large not something to be disrupted, but just eliminated.
